Bro why tf you tweaking over tags all over the workshop, I've seen you on at least ten different mods in the past two days alone with this copy paste stuff
BottomScorer 6 Jan, 2023 @ 6:58am
One Steam tag should be sufficient!

War of the Chosen

NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!
Furykuiku'l 1 Sep, 2021 @ 7:30pm
those having issues with voice not showing up due to large numbers of mods change the allowed voices for classes and sex it will enable you to see them all
qq2w3e 7 Sep, 2020 @ 6:05am
thx
Pleasant Peasant 27 Jul, 2020 @ 2:49am
Alright, so I disabled all my mods except for this voicepack and it showed the correct voices.

So I think the issue is defintely on my end, I do have 500+ mods so i may trim a few voice packs I don't need.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 26 Jul, 2020 @ 10:35pm
I've never encountered this issue before nor heard of it, and I haven't altered this mod in several years. Unless there was a new update that borked voicepacks, it might be a confliction on your end or you might just have to delete the mod and redownload it.
Pleasant Peasant 26 Jul, 2020 @ 3:07pm
So for some reason i can only see the skirmisher version of these voices? is that a big issue?
Venderson 15 Jun, 2019 @ 7:03pm
These are great voices and I've been having fun using them. However I have to keep the volume very low when I do otherwise the voices become borderline earrape. Not to mention them appearing frequently on rookies and enemy VIP's like MOCX squads to name one example.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 3:53pm
Not in any simple way that I recall. It's been a while since I've used the modkit or played, but there's no simple button. One would have to load the mod into the dev kit and then manually do it. It wouldn't be too difficult I don't think, mainly it's just the act of redownloading everything just to alter that.

Someone may have made a mod that could make it easier to make simple adjustments to voice mods like that, but I'm guessing you probably already looked for something like that. Sorry my guy.
Stitch 14 May, 2019 @ 1:00pm
Not expecting much due to how long it's been since this has been released, but is there a way to lower the volume for the voices specifically in this pack?
SWFanatic 4 Jan, 2018 @ 11:26pm
Great mod. Fits perfectly. Love fielding a full delta squad.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 8 Sep, 2017 @ 2:33pm
If it is possible, that's probably where you can do it. I don't know what .ini file it would be in or where in the file it is though. Unfortunately, I do not have the knowledge on how to do it :(
Cruiser 8 Sep, 2017 @ 12:12pm
Ive heard that if you do some tweaks to ini file to the template or something you can prevent this from happening however I don't know what exact change needs to be made.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 8 Sep, 2017 @ 10:01am
@Cruiser Not that I'm aware of. Once a voice pack is integrated it's basically randomized among troops. The best you can do is dilude the chances by installing more voice packs.
Cruiser 8 Sep, 2017 @ 7:28am
Is there a way to prevent this voice pack voices to appear on random rookies? Thanks for reply.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 4:40pm
I've been having that issue with a few mods downloading, then they suddenly show up. I believe its more of an issue with steam downloading than the specific mods though.
ic1cli 5 Sep, 2017 @ 3:44pm
Same boat as @MoarAsainThanU unsure why
EmperorsChosen  [author] 3 Sep, 2017 @ 6:45pm
@MoarAsianThanYou I don't know what could be the issue in that case. Maybe unsubscribe and redownload it? Or restart steam? Sometimes Steam is weird about the downloads. It should show up now, however.

@Emperor Dao Sorry to hear that, but I don't think the voice pack is the cause. From my experience, if you have a voice pack enabled and then take it out, even if the soldier that uses it is in said mission, it just defaults to an available voice pack. It doesn't alter any code, just adds it. lt can't crash a game or break a save and I don't know of how to possibly make a voice pack compatible with LW2 and not Vanilla. As far as I'm aware, you don't need to change any code to make it compatible with the former or latter. Whatever your issue is, I don't think my voice pack is it. A voice pack isn't enough to crash your game, at most, it just won't show up.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 3 Sep, 2017 @ 6:41pm
@Cubed I can look in the code again, but I don't think the voice pack is the issue for crashing. Even for WOTC (with how fucked it was for mods the first few days), all the voice pack would do is not show up for the special units, or at all. It doesn't alter any code that would resolve in crashing... but what dlc do you have for the game? Just the Vanilla with LW2? Alien Hunters? Shen's Gift, etc?
Cubed 2 Sep, 2017 @ 4:39am
I'm playing LW2 with this voice pack, it tells me I'm missing some files (or something to that effect) but the game now crashes when I complete a mission. Your help would be appreciated.
Sulrn 1 Sep, 2017 @ 11:49pm
Rage babies aside - thank you for updating for WOTC.

Now I just need someone to update the Republic Commando armor / Star Wars Helmet packs so Delta can get back to work.
Emperor Dao 1 Sep, 2017 @ 2:38pm
thanks a lot. instead of copying this mod and making the copy WOTC compatible, you overwrote this one and made the copy compatible with LW2. you actually fucked my game. whenever i complete the mission i left off on, the game crashes. it also keeps telling me im missing the voice pack. you fucked me. just a few missions from completing a grueling campaign before getting WOTC and you actually stole it from me. doesnt matter if you meant to or not. It's a fuck up, and in turn, it fucked me. Thanks.
Spectacular Insanity 1 Sep, 2017 @ 12:11am
The mod still does not work on WotC. I subscribed and it appeared to download, but it does not work in game, nor does it even appear on the mods list on the game's mod launcher.

It's not a huge deal since I still have the standard clone trooper voice mod working, but I thought you should know.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 3:52pm
What do you mean it says it's still missing? Do the voices no show up or are you getting an error?

As for the supplies glitch, I don't think that could be caused by this mod. I haven't altered any of the games files, only added in new voices. Which version of the game are you playing?
Ragnar 31 Aug, 2017 @ 3:37pm
so weird thing i have the mod selected but when i load it says its still missing and now when the supply drop comes i go from 100 supplies to 0.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 3:00pm
Alright, the mod is updated for WOTC. Unfortunately, it didn't pop up when I tested it for Vanilla Xcom, so I'm going to go ahead and upload a separate mod of this same Voice Pack, but specifically for those without the expansion.
G2-9T 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:34pm
Oh, it's alright. Take your time, there's no rush!
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:21pm
Yeah... I'm working on that Flash. Bear with me for a bit.
G2-9T 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:20pm
Uhh, I think you might have just broke it.

They're not showing up anymore.
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 2:20pm
You'll need one per each voice category you want to add it to. Assuming you want to add the voice to regular soldiers, all three Resistance classes, and SPARKs, you need five lines per voice.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:58pm
Well, I got the launcher to detect it as compatible, but the voices still aren't showing up... You only need one entry per voice in the XComGame.int right? Or do I need to put as many in there as its used?
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:48pm
I honestly couldn't tell you about the first part, as my own voicepacks are all working fine so far. As for the latter; maybe because it wasn't compiled and uploaded via the WOTC SDK or something. :conwayheadscratch:
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:46pm
Well, for some odd reason, the spark voices work fine in vanilla but no voices work in WOTC when I test it. Have any idea on what could cause that? In the launcher it also detects that its incompatible for WOTC.
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:39pm
No problem. You shouldn't need the WOTC ModBuddy though.

Looking at the voice archetypes, there's no new cues that need hooking up. Modders may have to get in and reverse engineer some other stuff before we can hook lines up to some of the new abilities.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:23pm
And I got it! Voices now work for sparks. I'm going to go ahead and move on to the WOTC modbuddy to update it for the special units now. Thanks a lot man!
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:19pm
so for SPARKs you'd do "+BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="Voice", Language="english", Gender=eGender_None, TemplateName="template name for XCOMGame.int", ArchetypeName="your soundpackage.XCOMCharacterVoice name", CharacterTemplate="SparkSoldier")"
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:18pm
E3245's Voice Pack Guide [docs.google.com] is my go-to. You need to set eGender_none AND have the CharacterTemplate line in order to make them work for SPARK units.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 12:40pm
@Arcalane I really appreciate the help. I read some incorrect info online that giving them eGender_None would enable them on Sparks, but that ended up disabling the pack entirely... I put it back on male for now but am going ahead and enabling them now.

Thanks for the help, I couldn't find anything online that tells you how to make them compatible xD
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 9:06am
e.g. "+BodyPartTemplateConfig=(PartType="Voice", Language="english", Gender=eGender_Male, TemplateName="template name for XCOMGame.int", ArchetypeName="your soundpackage.XCOMCharacterVoice name", CharacterTemplate="TemplarSoldier")"

should work.
Killian 31 Aug, 2017 @ 9:05am
Adding them to the War of the Chosen classes is much like adding them to Sparks, you just need the correct gender set, and then you can use TemplarSoldier or etc. in place of SparkSoldier.
Mr.Person 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:00pm
thank you for updating this even though you said it worked previously. Anything new?
EmperorsChosen  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 8:26pm
Note that at the time of this comment, the voice pack DOES function. So if any of you want to use it for WOTC, you can. It will not crash your game or anything of the sort. I'm still going to be downloading the dev tools to update the back just in case, but it still works at the moment.
EmperorsChosen  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 7:16pm
I'm installing the dev tools for war of the chosen now. Didn't think an expansion would break voice packs of all things. I'll have to play around with it and see how to transfer it to WOTC.
Fritzchen 29 Aug, 2017 @ 8:22am
PLEASE (!!!) keep in Mind that an Update (WOTC) makes this outstanding MOD unplayable for ALL XCom2-Players, who will not add WOTC !!

A second, separate MOD-Release (if done) of this is the Solution - I guess !
MantisUK 29 Aug, 2017 @ 5:59am
will you be adding these to war of the chosen classes?
J.Tarwin 2 Aug, 2017 @ 7:07am
Having Delta Squad on my XCOM missions is like playing two games at once. I love it!
Alliedboy 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:05am
nvm figured it out. it was certain mods not working with it.
Alliedboy 14 Jul, 2017 @ 10:36pm
find* the voices
Alliedboy 14 Jul, 2017 @ 10:36pm
just got a new pc. downloaded xcom 2, as well this mod and other mods too, but i cant the voices. Any chance I may have downloaded too many incompatible mods with this one? and if so, what do i do to fix and get this voice pack to work?
SacredDatura 10 Jul, 2017 @ 3:55am
There are also some references to clones iirc. Not too jarring though, and is outweighed by how good a fit the voice acting is to the tone of XCOM 2.
