You are out of line. The other mod stole nothing, just got a similar end result. You have asked why it sounds different, that is because it IS different. The other mod doesn't break troopers and this one appears to have been abandonded since shortly after this game came out. If I made my profile name Legi0n Prime, would you exercise more futility and report me, too?
Thanks for the reply though!
I've notified other voice modders, and they seem concerned that reformatting will compromise audio quality. So, if you were to make your files Mac-compatible and the quality issue concerns you, you may consider making two separate mods: one for PC and one for Mac.
Hope you'll consider accomodating us lowly Mac owners!
- so you know my context.
Besides - this embedded sound in animations would explain the at times outlandish volume levels on instance sounds, and why these don't respond to changing the volume in menu. So getting rid of them is in and of itself interesting to me.
F*ck Firaxis for all their stupid designer mistakes.
It also explains why the ACTUAL advent VS is so small.
a number of instances in which the advent "speak" are, in fact, SFX baked within the animations!
I am working on a hilarious mod, but I don't think it will suit the xcom, but it would suit ADVENT's gene-modded troops.
Of course, the problem might NOT be with your mod, but with poor game optimisation! you could check if other voice packs do the same!
It's akwardly quit in my game fighting against Advent.
I'll take another look a bit later, maybe I've missed something.
