Sorry, this mod is pretty much dead. I mean, it's 8 years old and the game has had many updates and DLC at this point and I'm not looking to update it. Sorry.

Please update and fix this class, its not all that great since you litterally have to keep still to shoot but you have to move them to get them that shot. might as well just be melee at this point. Also liek the other person said it thsi class can't equip predator armor so its not usefull once your armor is second teir your huntsman/huntress will be a easy target.

Awesome I have a team rwby basically everytime in my games, so might make my Ruby this class next time. I wonder if there are people planning on making more faces and hairs for the game, maybe someone can make the rwby girls into the game fully

It wasn't intentional. To be honest I need to sort this mod out. It was just a trial and I've built a new computer since then. So I don't have the files.

Looking forward to using this! It'd be fun to see a SMG huntsman class to match with Blake's style. Right now the only SMG based class I've found is the rouge class mod, so I'd love to have another class.

May I suggest switching long watch with Rupture, the idea is that a sniper at close range could see weakpoints in an enemy, and strike at those points weakening it to all attacks after, would make sense based on the name huntsman.

I'm probably going to look at the perks and change what doesn't fit. Not sure I can do the changing accuracy on depending what you do.

You could mod slash into a custom one, giving the sword AND making the sniper cost 1 to fire. To make it more unique, you could also add a penalty/bonus to the class. For example, giving the sniper +20% accuracy if you used a melee attack last turn, and -30% accuracy if you fired instead.

That would force the hybrid style of gameplay quite well. I dont know anything about modding, so im not sure if its possible. But if it is, you should give it a shot, or at least something similar.

Long watch is pointless btw.

Like I said, it's my first class mod and willing to take ideas and suggestions to change it. Let's call this a base, I can easily change any perks with others, just picked these as this is what I'm going for. I believe I may be able to make it so this class can shoot with just one action rather than 2. There is also the DMR mods which would work with this class.

It still feels very inefficient to have skills based around 2 completely different distances. I understand your point having a class able to do both, but it just seems like a lesser sharpshooter/ranger.

If you hit someone in melee, youre gonna have to take a whole turn to relocate somewhere further away to use the sniper on the next turn. Since it costs 2 points to overwatch/shoot with the sniper, i assume you cant move with 1 action and overwatch either.

Also - run and gun? Can you fire with the sniper after that?

Sharpshooters tend to stay way~ in the back, they usually never move from the start point. I made this class to go with the squad and have a CQC weapon for when the fight gets close in buildings or areas a Sharpshooter would not be able to see without getting close.

I believe you can increase dodge etc, I'll have to have a look into it. It is my first class mod so I'll have to see. Do like the idea of greater dodge chance for this class.

Whats the point of a class that focuses on long range with the sniper and short range with the sword? If i want a sniper why not just use the sharpshooter?

If its just to add the sword to the sharpshooter, that seems silly.

Is there any way to make a class based around melee that, y'know, isn't stun lancer-level suicidal? Like, is there a way to boost the dodge of a particular class?

I am actually in the middle of making the scythe a melee weapon. Only way you'd be able to make it a sniper as well is have a sniper version and a scythe. Go the long route and do entire new animations. Or downlaod the bash mod.

I know its probably beyond your current abilities, but making a Scythe-Sniper weapon like Ruby's would for this class would be an awesome touch.

(Oh, and maybe you could make Weiss's class a Sword based Psi fighter, maybe with elemental abilities?)
