I think your issue with clients getting black screens is a longtime bug (that I don't understand fully, unfortunately) that often happens when a level is updated but the entire map moves (which happens when you re-create the arenas). If I had to guess, clients reporting that issue have have to update their version of this map from the workshop. When I downloaded it (didn't have it before), the map seemed fine. One way to get around this is to use a different filename, or just not update it.
This is really weird....
