Easiest work around would be to just use the in game option to have people become the class you want them to be. Build a GTS and shove all your rookies though it so you can pick what classes they become.
Then just hope that not all of the people that were on Gatecrasher were ones you wanted to be this class.

Im trying to force certain characters from my pool to use Infantry as their class but the damn RNG of this game hates me, Use My Class mod fails and I've tried using the console command to force it but it doesnt seem to work either. anyone know a work around?

So hey, is there a way to rename the class? Because I have this one mod that also has an Infantry class, alongside a bunch of other classes, and I don't want to get the two mixed up for one another. There a way to do that?

There was actually quite a bit that needed to updated to bring it back into line with WotC. Hopefully it's largely bug-free; let me know if there's any issues!

Most definitely needs an update. This mod was core for me in xcom2 vanilla, please update fro WotC

Last campaign I completed I used this mod and Escalation Classes. One of my Infantry from this mod rolled the Reaper ability from Escalation Classes in the AWC.
Every kill she got with her pistol refunded her turn's actions. Rifle shot first, pistol shot to kill, rinse and repeat. That woman was a force of nature (more than 200 kills by campaign end, IIRC).

Otherwise, no, I don't think this class is too overpowered. Maybe the perks could be juggled around a bit...

I did, though, find a couple of these Infantry with Established Defences and plasma weapons able to tear through any reinforcement drops and any Ruler.

no its not at all over powered. Its a perfect fit with the other vanilla classes

Hey everyone, I wanted to ask to see if I should install this mod. I play vanilla XCOM 2 (meaning I dont have LW2) and I'm worried this class is overpowered by looking at it's abilities. For those of you who have played with this class all the way to the endgame, do you think it's too overpowered, or is it balanced enough to keep the game challenging? Thanks all :D

Please update to LW2, its my favorite class in XCOM2.
Changing perk tree to LW2 compatible wasn,t a problem (big thanks to Sergeant Kelly)
But I've got problem with Extra Conditioning which you can get from GTS, it isnt working as it supposed to (In LW2 Extra Conditioning heve different bonuses then it should for this class). Combat Fitness from LW2 would fit better in my oppinion, but i haven't got skills to change it by myself.

Love the class. Trying to figure out a way to give it a different secondary other than a pistol. Want to bring it over to WoTC and make it a bit more unique in the base game.

the counter attack is them hitting the enemy with the butt of the gun.. looks good to me

I *REALLY* enjoyed this class with Vanilla XCOM 2. I wish it were compatible with LW2.

I'm having to unsubscribe to a lot of mods that aren't compatible with LW 2. Luc's classes are some of them.

Anyone know where I can find the list of abilities as they appear in template names? I'm trying to add the ammo pocket unlock to the class at the basic Squaddie level in the defaultgamedata.ini, but can't see the proper form for the Light 'Em Up ability anywhere.

Any plans for attacking the third set of options in the LWS perk pack? My brain is swirling already, having you updrate this might just cause a meltdown.
