for whatever reason, this mod was preventing me from launching the game. Granted, I have about 200 mods, but disabling this one worked. Just a heads up. It's a very old mod after all.

anyone come up with an issue having the gun all black, without any possibility do color it in any way? I've noticed that it was the same in connection with Yard1PL desert eagle.

@Brommers You rolled Shredder as an AWC perk, but the game doesn't recognize the currently equipped weapon.

Don't suppose you can make a version that's free to use and is just an alternate shotgun model? That's a lot of points of resources for a few alternate weapon models I'd rather have at the beginning of the game.

If you're updating this again, I think the UI icon needs to be enlarged a bit because the shotgun looks too small. Just my suggestion.

Getting a bug where the shotgun textures themselves are all one black texture except for the flashlight.

Could you adjust the size so that it fits better into characters' hands? Seems a little too small right now. Though I notice that this is less of a problem during missions. Judging by your Whisper mod, I'm assuming it's a lot easier to edit gun-wielding animations during combat than in the squad selection screen?

@Reezy I'm working on a VSS Vintorez for the sniper slot, it's gonna take a while since I have model new upgrades and stuff. I'm pretty much just adding whatever old models I have on disk with some adaptations so we'll see what I hve laying around.

glad to see other people making ballistic weapons powerful because personally i hate these lazer and plasma stuff ! Nothing better than planting an actual bullet in a sectoids skull

Just in response to some of the comments about file size - are the new smaller versions still too large? I don't have any xcom modding experiance yet and so the only comparison I have is the semi-official SMG pack that long war studios put out (which is 92mb for x3 weapons)

I hope this doesn't come across as critical in any way, I really love all of the weapons you've put out and can only imagine how much work must go into them. But if there's a way to futher optimise space / performance then I think that'd be really worth while

Update with smaller textures for some of the add-ons that had way too much resolution for their size.

@mheath I was thinking about maybe making something for those slots as well.

@Reezy You don't need any particular research to build it, it should be available in engineering under the weapons tab from the start. You can tweak the price etc. in the config file.

@mirageandjazz1197 I don't know about messing someone's computer up, wasting their harddrive space with unnecessarily large bitmaps maybe. :^)

the files size is too big for me so I'll keep track of this mod but wont subscribe yet the gun does look reallly nice.

yeah it uses pieces from other weapons, so you have a lot of high resolution textures. Eats up space like crazy. I could probably make all the textures 1/4 size to bring it down a bit.
