@badmanbacon go to the mod's folder, open classdata.ini with notepad, go to the allowed weapons section, and simply put this code in: +AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon, WeaponType="sword")

Quick question... what are the classes weapons supposed to be? Cause when I switch my units class to Juggernaut, it just keeps the last class it was weapons.

Hey there! Super fun class to use! After getting back into XCOM recently I found that the shield overload ability seems to last forever. The visuals last one turn but the effect makes her forever immune to damage. Not sure if it's a bug or just a combination of mods I have.

you might have a mod that mess with other ability effects changing the dration, as it lasts only 1 full turn.

the perk 'Shield overload' seems to be bugged for me. after use my character no longer takes any damage and all enemies stop using logic, they run out in the open and flank/shoot my soldier, and its pretty much never ending because he cant take damage. something i noticed

I'll probably just add a third perk for each rank, by default it will be hidden but with the perk pack active it will be visible.

@-bg-: With the annoucement of LWS perk pack and regarding any new update to incorporate LWS perk pack, would you mind to seperate your mod into two version, one with need LWS perk pack and one without? After I take a look at LWS perk pack, I don't really think I'm going to use it at all. Most of the perks just basic +stats based on circumstance and not really offer much creative design and there even joke perk on it (looking at you, Commissar). Moreover, it seems to conflict with a lot of good mods that author of those mods seems to move on already, so, can't really expect update for compatibility.

So, if your future update need LWS perk pack, would you please make it seperate mod. Thank in advance.

No actual "shield" shows up on the Juggernaut on the tactical map, correct? It's just permanently active? If so, what stats?

btw I don't set the stats in the UI, you'll only see the armor in a mission.

Okay, I can give you that. I still should have a total of 3 armor, no? 1 from the Squaddie perk and 2 from Damage Control at Corporal? I still had 0 at the end. Just wanted to make sure this class is working fine as this really looks great...a bullet sponge I can actually take into battle.

not sure if the levelupbarracks bug is fixed, but using that to get a class can cause them to missing the squaddie ability.

Hey, doing a console command to check out some new perk trees, I leveled up a Juggernaut to Colonel, taking any and all Armor points...and ended up with 0? Not even the Squaddie perk applied, assuming it's similar to Blast Padding?

Man you should make a comparison of the samurai vs juggernaut. It would be an amazing fight if they were against eachother or compared stats.

currently it is strong because the shields can't be healed back up besides the captain perk, which only triggers when you take HP damage, I will nerf it a bit after giving them a shield recharger utility item.

was fun the one time I played through with the class, but yeah.... the heavy armor ability is just... OP as hell. IMO reduce the ability by 50%

oh yeah the shields value are based on what armor you use and I haven't add alien hunters armors yet, since I don't have the DLC, it would be great if anyone can provide me the template name of the 3 armors.

With the last upgrade of Xcom, I can use this class. All capacity make "Missing LocFriendlyName" without any icon or description for all the class. Y try to unsubrcribed and subscribed again, but nothing. It doesn't work...

Oh, I see the problem now. The W.A.R. Armor I usually use for my Juggernaut provides him with substantial amount of shield bars. But this time I equipped him with the R.A.G.E. Armor, which does not provide as much shielding.

After a break and return for the new DLC I am reafirmed in my love for the Juggernaut. The shield system is inspired and perfect but does not remove the need to plan and think about how you use the class. I have been usign the bolt caster and I think it is a solid weapon choice. I tend to go down the passive defense perks but that is personal choice/play style. All in all remains a solid squad choice and I think the balance is solid given that you sacrifice damage for squad protection/tanking.

:/ I didn't notice heavy armor is elligible for awc bonus perks, but I think I will add ability to toggle each abilities to be elligible as AWC bonus ability next patch

Sorry for my poor/strange english first.
I think some abilities should not get via advance warfare center(ex: "heavy armor" and "shield overload").
It make game too easy. I known custom class is just for fun. However, when it too overpower game will be bored.
Besides, let other classes got those abilities is somehow strange. Only juggernaut has shield battery right?

go to steamapps\workshop\content\268500\634831620\Config\XComClassData.ini and make sure there's this line +AllowedArmors=soldier, if not, your steam did not update the mod.

the shield battery as utility item is a good idea, it could be stronger than medkits but with the limitations of only using it to regenerate shields. Thanks for the idea. Also thanks for the feedback on the naming fixes, I will use them on the next update that will use a proper effect game state implementation introduced in the may 12 patch.

I quite like the class you designed. However it would be nice if you could go through the ability descriptions and acutally call the shield HP that are given to the Juggernaut "Shield" instead of armor. Maybe call it "Personal Shield Generator" or something like that. It would help reduce confusion. Also if you need Ideas for a class item then a Shield Generator would probably fit the bill. Maybe give it a "switch Batteries" ability or the like that heals some shield HP once per mission akin to a medkit but only for personal use. Maybe with 1 more use on T2 and more HP restored on T3.
