I intend to make a deep and good voice pack soon, so thanks for the tips on how to. I will upload to the Nexus first though as that`s my favourite go to for mods. It will be a good one.

Man i love you!!!! Love these voices! The most voicepacks of others sound weird and mostly too soft compared to the original game ones but yours rock! Ver solid and fluid, i cannot wait for the rest! I need Magic voice! Snapperheads!! :D

(new suggestion) let's do a simple mod later on where we could use those scientists voices & dialogues to appear and pop up when we are browsing and viewing the inner x-com base. It makes the alien menace even darker during the campaign. It is about scientists communicating inside the base during work. These radio scientist Logs talk about research, contamination, alien infestion, terrors, experiments, tests, corporation corruption, space studies. It enhances the suspence & lore (sending some samples now) :DarkOphelia:

Already solved that. I outright removed the ModShaderCache.upk.

The reason it's so big is because there are 20 different voices in this mod.

A bug in XCOM 2 ModBuddy causes the ModShaderCache.upk file to be 85MB instead of ~150KB. It happens to every mod that adds audio/visual content, including headgear packs and voice packs. 85MB doesn't sound like much, but multiply that by 30 mods and suddenly you have 2.5GB of crap that needs to be loaded from the HDD and bloating up memory.

Are these voice packs streamlined and sorted for the Modbuddy issue?

Modbuddy affect voicepacks it seems.

These guys have been doing voice packs and maybe looking at these will help you to know:

This quote being the main one: "Voicepacks have been plagued with this problem because of a bug in ModBuddy".

Apparently without the extra code and bits removed, they take up loads of memory and affect load times in a big way.

Gotta say I'd love JA1 Ivan, before he learned English. The fact that his subtitles were cyrillic was such a lovely touch in the original. :)

Thank you so much for doing this. XCOM is great, but XCOM/Jagged Alliance is incredible. Now if we can just get an XCOM JA2 total conversion I'd be in heavan. Anything is better than what we've had to put up with with the last few "official" attempts to recreate the magic.

Daaaaaang! So glad that you're continuing to work on these packs. For some reason XCOM 2 feels like a great environment for bring back my favorite mercs from the JA games and your voice packs really add some amazing icing to my Character Pool cake. ;)

Before anyone asks, I'm going to halt progress on the Jagged Alliance Voicepacks until after I make a video showcasing both of them. This week and next week will be dedicated on making a video, and my break.
