Yeah I use the Alternate Mod Launcher, the default one destroys my performance. No I haven't used that mod before, but if it might help I'll give it a shot! Is it called "Remove Missing Mods for WotC" on the workshop? That's the only one that pops up when I search for "unbind mods".

Yep, didn't work for me sadly. I'm going to try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game and all my mods though, hopefully that'll work.

Thank you for the great mod, most of the time it works perfectly and it's a must have for me! Unfortunately I've run into an issue that I can't seem to fix, so I'm posting here just in case you or anybody else knows of a fix.

Currently whenever I start a game with this mod active my starting HQ is completely gone on the Geoscape, the icon for waiting at HQ is invisible and can't be selected which makes it impossible to progress the game unless a mission pops up; it still spawns in the correct location but it can't be interacted with at all. I've never had this issue previously and ran a game where it worked perfectly just last week. I read that the QuickStart mod has compatibility issues so I started some games with it disabled, but it seems like that doesn't resolve the issue for me. Has anybody else encountered this before? If so, does anyone know a fix?

Sadly that first blacksite spawning issue is a big deal. Got one half across the world which makes the game somewhat more difficult

Works for WOTC with some issues. You won't start with your faction hq revealed meaning you will need to use a covert action to get other covert options; And you'll likely get a double chosen revealed at the start.(The one from that games original intended start region and the one from your current region.)

@Mr.X The problem is that unless you enable the "Lost and Abandoned" mission, you won't have your starting resistance faction's HQ set on your location, and you'll be unable to use any of the trio factions entirely due to how this mod functions.

Seems to work fine for WOTC, ive launched the campaign 2 times after the Black Text Window was finished. and both times I've started in Western Europe.

Then the obvious solution would be to simply allow the player to designate the trio factions' HQs manually, and align one of the HQs to the player's starting location.

Just need to figure out how that works.

This mod runs a script that recreates the Avenger and Resistance HQ after a new game is started. For some reason, this doesn't seem to work the same way for all players, and some end up with the Avenger created where the "old" Resistance HQ was set up. Some also have the first Blacksite appear next to where the "old" HQ was, which could be on the other side of the planet.

At least, that was the state of things with the last DLC before the expansion. I can't remember if the source code was distributed along with the finished mod, but if it is, feel free to poke around.

I've recently entered the modding scene myself, at least via INI edits. Perhaps I can take the mantle?

I know nothing when it comes to modding the .u files though...

So I can confirm that this mod causes a glitch where your starting point doesn't match up with the Resistance HQ of one of the three factions that's randomly assigned to you, if you have Lost and Abandoned enabled. Please fix as soon as possible!

@Tyrak: That sounds like this mod not working properly. This mod works by removing your old HQ, the one the game picks at random at the start of a new game, and adding a new one. Some players have experienced similar issues like you are describing, where the region with the "old" HQ is missing from the game. I've also heard of the issue with the first blacksite appearing near your "old" HQ location. It sounds a little odd if both issues are happening, and in different regions. Luckily, the first blacksite appears pretty early in the game, so it you get screwed over badly, it's not that painful to start over.
Really sorry about not having a fix for this.

@Vaeringjar: You're probably getting the bug form similar reasons as the problem described above.

Might have a bug with this mod on WOTC. The first blacksite spawned in East NA, and my HQ is in South Africa. That's... A looong way away. Also seem to be missing a region in Africa, not sure if it's related.

I think this mod is incompatible with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=686703739 , as I ended up with a region missing a bonus. Haven't tried in WotC.

Hmm. Debug mode, aka. console commands has broken the mod for some. For me, it was adding "-allowconsole -log -autodebug" to the launch options, and the mod no longer works. Did you check that?

So I ran all my mods and LW without set HQ mod and double havens did not show up. I ran it with LW, HQ, and all my hair/Character pool/Voice pack (No gameplay stuff other than LW) mods and double Havens appeared. I'm sorry, but I do think it's the Set HQ mod. Hope this helps!

Still getting double havens with the mod. I'll try just running the mod with LW and nothing else to see if its this that's causing it.

Well, this mod *should* delete and recreate all havens, so there could be an issue with the code that removes the old ones.

I'll check, but this mod just seemed to be the most likely cause. The problem stopped once I disabled Set HQ Location, anyway.

Think I might've found a compatibility issue with this mod & Long War. Starting a new game makes every region have two Havens when there should only be one.

I'm not really playing XCOM 2 right now, but I reinstalled it, added Longwar 2 and this mod, and it starts up with the chosen HQ location from the ini-file.

I didn't really play any further, but it looks like it's working.
