A better description of how this works exactly with some numbers would be great. I have several questions that this terrible description never comes close to answering.

Love this mod, but it does not change Ruler Armors. Could someone upgrade this mod?!

@Spookylizard Can you fix this mod please? I Found a work around by simply deactivating, buying the upgrade and then re-applying the mod, but I would much appreciate it if you could fix the upgrade template issues.

Do you have any new as to if this is working now? or is it still not working? Can you let us know please, Spookylizard.

Another variant to adding health could be adding shielding. It had the same functionality, but cannot be repaired with a medkit

Is this mod working Currently?

Has this mod or any similar mod been fixed in the meantime? I find that armors that give HP instead of Armor are really a thing that should have never existed in vanilla Xcom2, it's very absurd and strange (also why should I carry something that gives me 2-3 more hp if I can instead carry a medikit that will heal my self of 4-6 hp or even more...).

That's unfortunate. I'll take a look at fixing it next week when I'm not on vacation.

@Eith: No, one of the author's other mods does that. Armor Not Health, I think it's called.

The new patch breaks this mod, though: I think because of their changes to upgradeable item templates (see https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/49wfcq/psa_item_schematic_templates_have_changed/) . You can research Predator, and the project shows up in Engineering, but when you build it you don't get the movie and the new armor doesn't actually show up. :(

Does this apply to enemies also?

It provided a 1:1 replacement of health for armor. I don't think this really needs a picture of you've ever played the game before.

A lot of enemies can shred your armor, especially later on. Jerk ass MECs.

I wish we had pictures, or something to give us an idea of what it does/ looks like in game
that would be nice please

I like this idea but I wonder if the armor figures might be too high if you're really going 1:1? I'm running it in my current game so once I start rolling out new armor I'll see if enemies actually start shredding at all frequently.

I have a mod that replaces enemy HP progression with armor gain.
I also made shredder grenades, to help with shredding and rupture enemies.

Interesting... I don't think I'll be using this one, but this as a feature of a larger overhaul mod would be really cool, especially if enemies were altered as well, so a lot of the higher health enemies are instead given a bucketload of armour. It seems like it would make weaker equipment more useful, as armour can only reduce damage to 1 from what I can tell, but it would also make stronger equipment weaker. Something of a great equaliser for weaponry until the armour can be shredded away.

You're retesting the mod I published three hours ago?
Arkan 6 Mar, 2016 @ 1:06pm
Re-testing this Mod once again. :orb:

I wont download because i try to stay as much as possible to the core game mechanic-wise, but i was intrigued. Actual number of mitigations per armor would be welcome by approximately....everyone :p

Thanks!
