Just wanted to ask with the new Objective game mode in KF2, have you considered expanding on a story line and add objective mode on this map? so many new possibilities with this new game mode.
- Added blood rain effects
- Collectibles added
- SYG spot added.
- Icons on players and zeds are gone. No more follow the leader to the center
- Added some tentacles
- Faster spawnrates
In the meantime avoid playing this map with flex on.
If you were to change it though, I think it should probably be an alternate version of the map, since there are a lot of people that like the map as it is. Of course there's a lot of people that like easy/free win maps :P
When I played the map the first couple of times I LOVED it because of the chaotic waves running through the corn fields. But with the massive plants on the border, it's very easy to figure out where the middle is since they provide an easy reference point.
I'm not sure removing them (or decreasing the distance that they're visible or height of them) would do much either, since you can just go the opposite direction you came from the trader or (in one case I've seen) make a trail of breadcrumbs (or in this case dosh, heh) to get back.
- Added vehicles and cover to the middle of the map with some slight visual additions
Although, could you make an alternate version without the wide open area or more plants in it?
When people figure out where the wide open area is each wave, it just turns into an arena map.
I mean I like having an area that is more open, it kind of turns into a mini objective to try and find it again each wave. But it's WAY too open.
