Just wanted to ask with the new Objective game mode in KF2, have you considered expanding on a story line and add objective mode on this map? so many new possibilities with this new game mode.

What happened to Zedharvest Halloween? I liked that one a lot better because of the pumpkin in the middle (which obscured view from zeds on the other side of the field).

- Icons on players and zeds are gone. No more follow the leader to the center :squirtooh:

I tried everything I could think of to troubleshoot and find the cause of the Flex FPS Drop issue. I haven't been able to fix it and I am at a loss curently.

In the meantime avoid playing this map with flex on.

this map has MAJOR issues with Nvidia FLeX to the point where it's unplayable. kill 1 zed and FPS dips to ~2-5. it's only with this map and only when FLeX is on.

One thing I think would make this map a whole lot better is if instead of one large area to find, there were 4 or 5 wider areas, but not nearly as wide as the one in the center. So it would fit the formula of Tripwire's official maps in a way, by providing somewhat open areas with tight hallway-like areas connecting them. That way, you get overrun in one of the fairly wide areas, you have to frantically fight through the cornfield maze until you reach a new one.

If you were to change it though, I think it should probably be an alternate version of the map, since there are a lot of people that like the map as it is. Of course there's a lot of people that like easy/free win maps :P

Haven't played the updated version, but I did play the Halloween version of this map the other day. Just wanted to say this map is so much less fun now that I've figured out how to get to the middle each wave D:
When I played the map the first couple of times I LOVED it because of the chaotic waves running through the corn fields. But with the massive plants on the border, it's very easy to figure out where the middle is since they provide an easy reference point.
I'm not sure removing them (or decreasing the distance that they're visible or height of them) would do much either, since you can just go the opposite direction you came from the trader or (in one case I've seen) make a trail of breadcrumbs (or in this case dosh, heh) to get back.

@LiquidArrow Hell yeah, lookin' forward to it! Those changes would also work well for teams that get the Patriarch. That was one issue we had on the map, the Patty would just mow us down since we had no cover aside from trader pods.

This map is ridiculously fun.
Although, could you make an alternate version without the wide open area or more plants in it?
When people figure out where the wide open area is each wave, it just turns into an arena map.
I mean I like having an area that is more open, it kind of turns into a mini objective to try and find it again each wave. But it's WAY too open.

This map will give me nightmares. The map looks nice , however that feels when you don't see where the strike will coming. It's just horrible. We just runned trough the cornfields and tried to find the open area but it was insane. We played on Suicidal but we were killed so badly.

well they didn't as much seem like tentacles of doom then pastel pink vines immitating the vines from the disney movie Maleficent. I guess the problem I have is that they didn't stand out well when close to them. But it is a relatively minor issue and I will be using the map again regardless. I liked backing up through the corn rows trying to get a good angle/place to kill Zeds from.

@zouron do you want a random fence in the middle of a corn field or do you want tentacles of doom with the clotmother that make you feel like it's growing in the field as a barrier :p

Well beyond the below suggestions I think some sort of fence would have been better to surround the whole thing instead of the vines thing there are. Another thing it could need a few more interesting areas of note (could be a burned out barn or something).

I'd like to see a smaller, non-red version of this map. Maybe set in the day time with gradual fog effects or something. Also I'd suggest adding maybe a barn instead of the giant umbillical chord. I think it would fit the map theme better and give it a boost visually.
