wotc reworked the visualisation system so any mods that modifies it in vanilla won't work

Causes a crash on "Play" for me with WotC, for anyone wondering about compatibility. Also no idea what RedPine is on about. I haven't seen anything in WotC for speeding up reloads.

WotC vanilla has this feature by default. This mod is not needed for WotC AFAIK.

@Melancholia: That's incorrect. 'Stop Wasting My Time' makes reloads non-blocking, so you don't have to wait for each unit to reload individually.

Hey bg, it's BG. Could you possibly make a mod for/help with disabling the soldier animation for Long War holotargeting? Biggest time sink in LW and it's painfully obvious with other speedups in place.

Stop Wasting My Time doesn't affect reloads. They still waste a lot of time.

the overwatch all mod is actually a lot slower than tabbing, as it waits for the camera to pan to each unit

You could spam overwatch in the first game (with the toolbox to remove the 2 second delay at least), like literally spam hit the hotkey and go through your soldiers in 1/4 of a second.

In XCOM 2, there's a pause. If you try to do the same thing, it just pauses for half a second and you hear the button pressing.

Sure, we could tab to another soldier, but that just adds another button press into the mix.

The overwatch all mod probably does it instantly.. but there are times I don't want to overwatch everyone so I've never used it.

Still, needless delays. We need something like the old toolbox mod to give us an all-in-one solution to modifications.. (and it updated for the latest version of EU/EW, since I want to go back and play through it with Long War again!)

overwatch is skippable though, once you tab to another soldier it is instant.

I cannot fathom why or how they managed to change the reload system in the 2nd game to screw up this badly.

Same thing with overwatch and potentially other commands. Used to be able to spam them in the first game.. now there's stupid delays and other issues related to them. Boggles my mind.

Oh, and hunker down doesn't have a hotkey anymore. They couldn't even fix that. I don't even..

@Blueraja, Even when you do the R+Tab reload, each soldier waits until the previous soldier has finished his whole reload animation. While it's true you can tell everyone to reload this way, you still have to watch it all. This mod takes out that animation so they just have the ammo without having to wait. If you R+Tab with this mod, the whole squad (except cannons) will reload in a split second.

It's been happening every single time I grapple for about ten missions now, even if it's the first action I take in a mission. Disabled this mod and it's still an issue, I suppose some other mod broke with the update or something like that... Thanks for your response, sorry to bother you for nothing

the grappling issue is caused by using grapply too fast after moving, it's a vanilla bug that happens without mods.

Is this possibly the cause to some grappling issues? It would kind of make sense, I think this is pretty much the only mod I have that alters animations. Soldiers who grapple will just aim their wrist and stand still for ~15 seconds and their model sticks to where they were until I move them again and they teleport to where they actually are...

@BlueRaja the reload animation from the vanilla game is slow as fuck, even if u can cycle through soldiers!

"so other soldiers don't have to wait for previous reloads to complete before starting to reload their weapon" - huh? This isn't true in the base game. Hit "R, tab" a couple of times and everyone reloads nearly simultaneously, I do it all the time (which is why this request has always confused me)
