I think this mod just broke my latest map I made. I got this messege: Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

Hmm, the mod worked fine for me. Recompiled it against the most recent game binaries, just in case.

I was somehow able to get this to work when using the move it+tunnel mode upgrade technique (as described below by AnotherGuy) giving me a negative road height level that I otherwise wasn't getting before. Maybe this was because I was editing a map that already had tunnels on it. But once I had a that negative height value I was able to finish my edits including placing new tunnel exits, so this isn't broken completely, thank goodness.

I did it in other way just to share with others here...first, you can build the network all overground then use move it to decrease the height that you wish to....then upgrade those roads to tunnel mode and to adjust the slope all that, but in this way you are unable to use tmpe lane connector

Rexhead tunnels never lead anywhere in map editor or the game when it's on a tile you don't own :)

Tested with the new Financial Districts update, mod is broken, tunnels still appear to lead nowhere.

Would it be possible for you to make a mod to enable canals and footpaths in the map editor? It's so frustrating I can't see/build them.

This mod was recommanded in order to properly connecting an undergound train station and a tunnel. However, this dosen't work at all.

Is it possible to install this mod so that tunnels outside my 25 tiles save no longer look filled in with grass? Not trying to use the map editor atm just wanna fix those dang ugly tunnels.

That's normal in the editor @ MOREOPTIONS. It dissapears automatically in game when the tile with it is bought.

first it need to be switched to ground type. Train actually coming up, then enters station.

Connecting the underground train line to the "POC Underground Train Station" will force the entrance of the tunnel in front of the station.

This mod allows me to create sunken roads in the map editor, but I can't seem to create a tunnel. Does anyone have any tips?

Does it somehow conflict with the bus lines? Though this mod fixed my metro lines, i think it broke my bus lines (on the map Wolfgangsee).

I know you are a very busy man, but I have a challenge for you.
Is it possible to add outside conection feature to tunnel roads / railtracks?
I am asking here, because the request concerns in particular more tunnels and a Map Editor, than outside conections in general.
Besides, great work - without your mods, this game would be unplayable! : D

@Rekov It's corrected if you unlock the tile they are on. If you want all of them to look correctly use the 81 tiles mod

Does the appearance of the tunnels get corrected once you're in the actual game, or do you have to then rebuild them for them to work correctly?

If i use this in Map Editor, and Upload Map in Workshop, do others have to use this mod to make it work?
Or is that mod only necessary to place the tunnels, and then they work just fine even without mod?
I assume second, cause tunnels are ingame anymway, and the same counts for your "more network stuff" mod.

@Erke I think only because of the visual issue that's visible on the preview image. That happens on tiles that are not yet unlocked

Hmm, makes sense. I'm hoping it's just the entrance/exits that do this then, and not the full tunnel. I can always redo those segments, but full tunnels aren't so easy.

@TechiCat If tiles where those tunnels enttrances are unlocked, they will look alright. If not, they will look like on that picture. I think, that rendering issue is the reason why Colossal Order didn't allow tunnels in MapEditor in the first place.

So you're saying that loading the map into an actual game won't look like that? I just want to make sure I won't have to recreate some of these tunnels. They're pretty involved, which is why I made them in Map Editor (in case I play the map again later).

@TechiCat It's just how tunnel entrances are rendered outside of unlocked tiles. That's just a rendering issue (notice, I pictured that on mod's preview picture).
@Serge This mod is for map editor, not for intersection editor.

This doesn't really work in Map Editor. Yes, it enables me to build tunnels, but the tunnels are filled in with the ground/mountain.

Sorry, not working. Go to intersection editor, build any tunnel entry, save asset, load asset, and I see a large hill where at the tunnel exit should end.
