This Mod is GREAT !
Gives me something to enjoy after I loved Ancient Empires to keep some variety. Also, FireForge/DarkAges/AoJ are fun too but this and FOTE are deffo best for that improved original game experience !

Hi, congratulations for your Europa Perdita mod, it is truly a precious piece in the world of total war modding. I have already asked Aurelinus permission to publish a new version of fote + ep revised: the intent is to add some changes without distorting your mod and fote, for example minor garrisons, implement a more complex campaign AI and a diplomacy more congenial to war wariness, just to name a few things. I would not touch anything of the two mods, simply some parameters would not be loaded due to the changes made to the revised. I would like to ask your permission to publish a collection in which to also include europa perdita. Thanks.

Decrease unit size in settings, it'll update the starpos at the start of a campaign and medium should maintain 160ish maximum units

Does Fall of Eagles increase the scale of units or is it coused by Europa Perdita? At the beggining of the campaign all of my units have vanilla huge scale (160 men) but every newly recruited unit has 240.

I read your are using build_level_table prestige points. Have you found a way to get them to work? The region-based prestige system makes it very difficult on the ERE and WRE. I've been testing it for 2 hours and it doesn't seem to matter how many points your buildings have. The imperium stays exactly the same.

Playing this with FOE and nothing else is activated; is the ERE supposed to start with -8K talents per turn and the WRE -20K talents per turn? Seems a bit excessive, there's almost no way to turn that debt around and fight any kind of war.

Hello! I couldn't find any information about this issue: whatever religion I pick as the state religion, it instantly gets -3 influence in all my provinces. Is it an intended feature? It seems quite weird. Playing as WRE

@Grappler: Doubtful, they're both big overhauls. Also this mod has been updated as of today, just search for Europa Perdita and you'll see the one that was added today.

Can you please update your module? File "building_levels" in building_levels_tables is outdated, file "aug_armed_citizenry_units_to_unit_groups_junctions" and "san_slot_template_to_building_superchain_junctions" use conflicting IDs numbers (30000).

My only complain so far is that ERE has latin christianity as main religion when it should be greek. I just like more the greek version than the latin.

Hey man I love your mod I just wanted to report a bug. It seems when I recruit Roman units with the visigoths when playing with fall of the eagles the unit card has vanilla units on it even though fote added custom ones to the game.

I think the issue with the blank page is that there are many effects and you might be on a lower resolution. Rome 2 had the same issue when buildings have too many effects. As for Arcadius, it's up to you how you deal with him. ;) You can make his bad trait less bad if you level him up.

Thank you for your hardwork.Feels a bit like Dei for Rome 2 which i use cuz otherwise i wouldnt touch it.I have a few questions though.I play Attila with this mod combined with fall of the eagles.Since Arcadius is and was historically a shitty character i wonder how do you reccomend keeping the blance of dominion and loyalty of governors and generals.It would be silly for me to make him ''alexander the great'' so i keep him in his palace eating grapes and squeezing the provinces dry.Rufus on the other hand could be a nice general cuz he sucks bad time for governorship...so ... ? And when i hoover over a capital city chain-construction menu to see benefits and deficits should i build this or that..theres nothing to see...a blank page...? so i dont really know what 3rd and 4th tier capital city provides.regional cities are ok. thanks a thousand times for replies and help in advance :))

Pannonia and Reatia et Noricum + Colonia Agrippina settlements IV level, while Rome is III? Playing that with FotE makes it, unfortunately, cheat mod, since crazy garrisons in FotE + IV level cities are just no-go for any invading army.

Yep, I'm aware. The AI isn't good at managing sanitation and a few numbers need tweaking.

Keeping sanitation at decent levels is hard, I can handle it tough, the problem is the AI. Half of their cities are infested with plagues, it keep spreading to my cities and about 60% of their armies are infested as well...

The starting position file. It's the part of the mod that determines what the campaign looks like at the start. Factions, buildings, armies, characters, all that.

You could delete only the starpos as well and just use EP as a great campaign mod with whatever you want, Majorian, Aetius or something. Maybe that Darkages mod

Well, it's easy to make that mod. I could. If I get some time one of these days, I could do that. Just need some time to sit down at my PC and do it. While you wait, it's also possible to just download EP, rename it, open it with PFM, and delete everything but the symbols. That should work.

Hmm... well, it could be a few things. Crashes like this are pretty rare though, so I'm not sure in this specific situation. What do you mean by pretty permanent? Does the crash repeat each time you try reloading that save? It might be that the faction in question is taking an action that the game has trouble processing and that's what's causing the crash on their turn. You could try taking different actions in the preceding turns and see if that faction does something else. But then I still don't know the cause of the crash. You can also upload your save and send it to me so I can see what's going on and if I can replicate the crash or not.

@Augustusng Howdy! Loving this mod and can't believe I only found it now. However, I am experiencing a pretty permanent freeze at turn 50 during the Western Roman Defectors turn. Any recommendations on how to remedy this?
