Can you please make it compatible for WOTC?
Juravis  [author] 9 May, 2020 @ 9:01am
Out of date for WOTC

JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:47pm
and thank you for doing this period, means alot to me:steamhappy:.
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:45pm
thx, make sure its WOTC compadible(reason why is because I like to test mods in shirmish mode)

oh and if it is possible, make it customizable, so I can also increase the number of charges to

make it more reliable, while still being balanced, and so if I want to, I can switch it between limited

charges or a cooldown.
Juravis  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:35pm
I'll make one just for you i guess.
Juravis  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:30pm
It's pretty easy to transform Domination into a cooldown based ability, the code would probably fit in 10 lines. You wipe the charge from it, then you assign it a cooldown. That's about it.
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:10pm
so...I just went to 2K's modding forum and it seems no one has tried to edit Domination's charge limit, there saying it "hardcoded"...so not only I don't know how to make the changes to Domination that I want to make, but neither does everyone else.
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 8:54pm
uh...hello?
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 7:38pm
I mean do you know where in the game's code is the code that I need to change to make Domination a cooldown ability?
Juravis  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 7:26pm
Sorry captain
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 5:04pm
I've never made a mod before, so I have zero knowledge in that field.
Juravis  [author] 12 Jan, 2019 @ 10:25am
Make a new mod use my code to nuts
JCGemX 12 Jan, 2019 @ 5:20am
Question: If I used this in the base game, is there a way to port the changes over?

(NOTE: the only change I want to make is to make Domination a cooldown ability, so I can use it more than once in a mission)
Juravis  [author] 8 Jan, 2019 @ 8:03am
This is a gigantic mod i dont have the energy sorry
JCGemX 8 Jan, 2019 @ 6:45am
Hey, can you make this WOTC compatible?
Kkaj 15 Mar, 2018 @ 11:55pm
I'm really sad to see that the ONE MOD I really need to play this game to full potential is not wotc compatible :'( might learn to mod just for that xD
Juravis  [author] 9 Feb, 2018 @ 9:23pm
No this one is grossly incompatible with WOTC, too many skill changes
The Big Red 1 9 Feb, 2018 @ 4:50pm
ok i just tested it for WOTC and it doesnt work
The Big Red 1 9 Feb, 2018 @ 4:26pm
does this mod work for WOTC too?
Sexy Republican 12 Sep, 2017 @ 1:41pm
Please update this mod as soon as possible
Juravis  [author] 31 Aug, 2017 @ 1:59pm
Im more focused on playing the game as is right now
darkzero 31 Aug, 2017 @ 11:12am
BUmmer. I was hoping this would get update love.
Juravis  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 3:36pm
Feel free to rip any or all of my code, anyone really. To be honest its not coded particularly well, but it works.
Zigg Price 30 Aug, 2017 @ 3:02pm
Anyone planning on updating this, then? This mod, and it's subsidiaries, became quite integral to my gameplay experience. I would love to see one mod that handles this, the alien armor abilities, and the new abilities from the new classes. I'm looking into making it happen, but I'm quite new to all of this.
Juravis  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 2:45pm
I dont have any intention of updating this one sorry
s.a.tsoy 30 Aug, 2017 @ 10:45am
Could you please update the mod for WotC?
I don't know if they changed the templating system much but it might work just fine after re-build.
Abaddon the Unholy 17 Mar, 2017 @ 9:05am
i see...so ima just have ta look at tutorials for that as i havent modded at all in my entire life. guess nows as good a time as any...
Juravis  [author] 17 Mar, 2017 @ 8:50am
neither youll need to mod
Abaddon the Unholy 17 Mar, 2017 @ 4:39am
ok thanks! can i do that within your mod or am i gonna have to do it in default files?
Juravis  [author] 16 Mar, 2017 @ 11:42am
change the targeting method of the template, change it from self to AOE like EnergyShield.
Abaddon the Unholy 16 Mar, 2017 @ 11:06am
true just curious...and if i wanted to make this happen...how would i do it?
Juravis  [author] 16 Mar, 2017 @ 10:47am
@Abaddon Yes its possible, but i use LW2 so im probably not going to develop that. Also, that would be massively overpowered.
Abaddon the Unholy 16 Mar, 2017 @ 9:31am
is there a way to make inspire an aoe ability?
Juravis  [author] 24 Feb, 2017 @ 8:32am
Yeah I forgot about that the Specialist does have a lot of charges
Zigg Price 24 Feb, 2017 @ 12:50am
I like having a CD on Specialists abilities, like Revival Protocol and Combat Protocol. Your mod allows for that, so I'll likely just be using your DLC mods and this mod alongside Long War. I usually make a lot of INI edits when I play XCOM 2, so a few more isn't a big deal. Now the Long War skills all have a lot of really good variables to change, and I usually do. But they don't expose any new variables on the vanilla skills, which is why I still need yours. It's one of the great things about the game. Can play it how you like, and no one can tell you that you are wrong :D
Juravis  [author] 23 Feb, 2017 @ 10:15pm
Most of the stuff with charges is the DLC stuff. You can use my DLC mods, i still use them.
Zigg Price 23 Feb, 2017 @ 9:57pm
I get that. I just like that fact that your mod adds in the original skill parameters to make a lot of them cooldowns instead of charges. I don't know how to make that change, so I have to continue to rely on this one alongside LW2.
Juravis  [author] 23 Feb, 2017 @ 11:53am
I find that most parameters of the LW2 skills work correctly for me, i dont have any gripes. Im satisfied with the LW2 INI parameters mostly. But yes, you could make a mod that changes ALL of the LW2 and vanilla skills, but thats a big endeavor im not willing to do anymore. I make small mods.
Zigg Price 23 Feb, 2017 @ 2:48am
Why is that? This gives more customization of the original skills than LW2's ini's do.
