How do I get this map working? I downloaded the realistic European theme, but the map still doesnt work. I keep getting an error message saying that it's missing a base theme.

The screenshots remind me of The Lake District where I live.

I've tested it seems to be fine sometimes the texture of the edege of the map disappears but reapears when you get closer. No major problems though

Does the map work well with the 81 tiles mod or will I have problems?

I'm having the esact same problem, and i have After Dark but not Snowfall, i have no idea what's causing this. I've tried everything.

Aha, well then the only thing I can think of is my lack of Snowfall when making this.

Maybe you need the After Dark EP for it to work or something, since I used that when making this?

That's some mod breaking things. Try disabling all mods (NEP included), and seeing if that fixes the problem. If it does, then enable NEP, and try again. And if that works, then enable the rest of your mods.

Many thanks for this reply. Works a treat! Now I just have to work out which mod (Fine road heights or Sharp junctions) is messing up when I join roads at junctions. They join but graphics are weird (sort of triangular).

Unfortunately the highway-type roads in NEP aren't zoneable, so you do have to replace them with something else to zone on them, which is a shame.

Personally, I just changed the roads to Pedestrian Roads (they look sort of like a single-track) with the top speed limit and all vehicles allowed when I wanted to build like that.

Perhaps there's a zone-editing mod that lets you enable zones on all road types. I know I have a mod installed that lets me disable zones on roads which already have them, but I never tried enabling zones on roads that never did.

That didnt work! Spent all day changing roads and terrain editing. Put new lines of trees down and saved it all Then started the game with unlimited money off and was told I was bankrupt!! Is therre a way of doing it??? Its such a great map -perhaps I'll just have to start putting the changes in when I have made my millions!!!

Fantastic map. But cant build along any of the existing roads! I wanted to add isolated homes dotted around the lanes as in real life and build small hamlets in the country. But find I need to build new roads to do it! Not a real problem as I am thinking of replacing a number of your "local" roads with "unlimited money" mod enabled and then save it and start playing from "my adapted" map version as a normal "money" game.

No idea :( I'm home for the Easter holiday so I don't have my gaming PC, but perhaps the patch broke NEP? Try loading it without NEP (if it is because of NEP, it will load, just with loads of roads missing).

Love this map - been playing it for a couple of weeks now. However, I think the patch today completely broke the map. None of my saves will load, which is heart breaking, and I can't even load a new game with this map. I just get the background colours, and all the roads floating about 100 feet in the air! I even tried turning off all my mods except NEP, and still no joy. Any idea what could be causing this?
