@Warwick Rail thanks I must give some of them another run.

Here is a list of all the workshop scenarios for the route.

Hatchet Hill Quarry is available here:

Moist Banana 26. juni 2019 kl. 7:53
you may be able to find hatchet hill quarry on pirating sites
Moist Banana 26. juni 2019 kl. 7:53
you just had to stir up my trousers didn't you?
Randallator 4. jan. 2019 kl. 11:23
there's a narrow gauge route on Workshop that has a link to buy Hatchet hill on steam... it still exists just very hidden
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 9. juni 2018 kl. 21:05
Hi Scouser888 fair enough, the Hatchet Hill Quarry was reintroduced a few monthes ago then removed, maybe it will come back again.
The AP Station Pack is not from Armstrong Powerhouse, it is a pack that comes with most of the routes produced by RSC/DTG.
The RSDL scenery pack is IIRC a standard Kuju pack.
Still the route would be pretty useless without the hatchet Hill Quarry. :steamsad:
Scouser888 9. juni 2018 kl. 18:20
This scenario requires too many DLC's, simply not interested. The Steam store page states that the Hatchet Hill Quarry route does not exist. Neither does the station pack on Armstrong Powerhouse. I have no idea what the RSDL scenery pack is or refers to. Thanks, but no thanks.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2017 kl. 3:57
Thanks for the compliments. :steamhappy:
railheadross 2. apr. 2017 kl. 14:41
Yes ran like like a charm, and my complements to the chef for the bonza scenario's that
are part & parcel of the Whatley Quarry setup. Almost inspiring me to have a crack at
creating a similar scenario !?. Also impressed by the Drewry 0-6-0 a little gem, well done.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 30. mar. 2017 kl. 2:15
No problem, even though I became confused as to what was happening.
At least it is now all sorted :steamhappy:
railheadross 30. mar. 2017 kl. 1:49
Looks like I need to visit the local optician,I Inadvertantly mistook North Somerset, for Somerset & Dorset !.
My sincerest apologies for the faux pas, and any impostion that it may have caused . Appears that all content has now loaded successfully. Thanks once again for your help re this matter.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2017 kl. 20:01
The trackwork is all as supplied as Default with the North Somerset route. Which also is where most of the trees, foliage and textures come from. The AP Station pack is supplied automatically with most routes. The RSDL scenery pack supplies some of the extra scenery like the scrub along the fencelines. The Weardale and Teesdale Network was just for some buildings and the MP Construction pack was for some items like gates, ladders and other fiddly items.
Certainly the scenery problems are not associated with rollingstock or reskins.
Hope that is of some help.
Roland.

Hi Roland, thanks for your comments re my loading issue with Whatley.
As per your advice I carried out a file verification, and all files validatdated 100% according to the app. I also deleted the scenario and re- installed, still not a dicky bird. Upon initial opening of the scenario, the MJA rekins werent loading, I know the JNA Mendip installed OK, not sure about the IOA Railnetwork(!?). Maybe I need to swap those reskins as you have suggested, though
I find it difficult to comphrehend how rolling stock that appears to have installed OK would effect scenic content. One other thing that struck me as bit odd', was that the 'Whatley' scenario was only displayed in the TS 'Standard' menu list as a subheading, not as a stand alone scenario(!?).

At least I cant blame the SP route for this anomaly . . . . .
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2017 kl. 0:43
Oh if the track is not showing up, then ensure you go to "Settings" and "Verify" and restart the game. That will normally get all the available stuff you have put into place.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2017 kl. 0:40
The Stevens Pass route is nor required for the track. It was only used for loaders on tracks 1, 3 and 4. But the scenarios I uploaded to the Workshop did not require these to work.
I did a run on the route a few days ago and did not have Stevens Pass installed and I think the loading yard area looked better, without the 4 S.P. loaders.
If you do not have the reskins that I used in a couple of the scenarios, you can swap them out with Mike Simpsons "RW_Tools" program.
Hope it works for you, Best Regards, Roland.

Have a situation with Whatley Quarry, and associated scenarios. From what I can gather most
of the content with the exception of track, scenic textures, & 3D scenics i.e. trees, foliage,
has downloaded. There seems to be no problem with the HUDS, or actual running trains. I am 99% certain that all of the DLC with the exception of 'Stephens Pass' , has been installed per
specs. I would have been reluctant to go out of my way to obtain both 3rd party, and retired content, to play the scenarios that Whatley Quarry provides. Had I known that basic items such as track and textures would not install without the ' unobtainable' SP route. Perhaps there is a simple explanation, and solution, for this state of affairs that I am not aware of. Any comments welcomed.
acousticalmix 4. juli 2016 kl. 3:13
Look forward to it!
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2016 kl. 3:01
Cheers M8ey. You have convinced me it is time to write a new scenario, one I had in mind several months ago. Hopefully it will be ready in a day or two. :-D
acousticalmix 4. juli 2016 kl. 2:57
Yes, that's it. One man's "Broken Cocrete Paving Slabs" is another man's "Ground Mesh"! Thanks a lot for both the route and your help.
Cheers Paul
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2016 kl. 2:52
Here they are: "Broken Concrete Paving Slabs" is one of the various Ground Textures available.

acousticalmix 4. juli 2016 kl. 2:43
Ah, that could well be it. I could imagine that I am looking at concrete slabs!
Paul
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2016 kl. 2:34
There should be no Ground Mesh showing anywhere within the visable area. You are not thinking of the "Concrete Paving" between the first road crossing and the loading tracks?
I will take a look and do some screenshots and give you a link to them on here.
acousticalmix 4. juli 2016 kl. 1:24
Well, I have installed HH but still appear to have some missing ground textures, unless this is how you intended the route to look. I can see a mesh on a grey background just before the start of the loading section at the end of the quarry. I have had a look at the images you posted (link on P2 of this thread) and can see the same ground pattern on some of your images but I had just assumed that these were works in progress. Any ideas?
Paul
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2016 kl. 5:24
That is true, it is a short route and some of the scenarios apparently give trouble now. I am sure when I first bought the route many years ago I think they all worked fine {as I recall}. I wrote 3 or 4 scenarios at the time, which are still available, not tried them myself for some time though.
acousticalmix 29. juni 2016 kl. 4:17
I believe so. I have all the other pieces of DLC that you refer to but have always been a little wary of HH. It appears to attract a lot of criticism.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2016 kl. 3:45
That I am unsure of, but it is quite possible, that ground textures were part of the many bits that came with that route. is it on special at the moment?
acousticalmix 29. juni 2016 kl. 2:40
Thanks for the reply. Am I right in assuming that Hatchet Hill will provide the ground textures?
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2016 kl. 1:44
The signals within the yard complex generally work if you have set a "Go to" or "Go via" if the track ahead is clear. But to enter the Quarry proper to couple to wagons within any of the loading tracks 1 to 4 and the Bypass track then you need to "TAB" and you will get the 2 white lights on the shunting signal attached to the main signal for either of the 2 signals just in front of the road bridge. Going past the Ground shunt signals towards the mainline and to a a predetermined position, the signal should already be clear. At the far end of the loading roads, IIRC it is usually clear if the points are set, but sometimes you need to "TAB". As for the ground colour light signal as you are leaving the bypass track, more often than not it will not clear so just "TAB". The other 2 colour light ground signals will work if you have set the course correctly and given a forwarding movement comand. Hope this helps.
acousticalmix 28. juni 2016 kl. 9:27
This is an excellent add-on and is much appreciated. At the moment I am using it without Hatchet Hill. I can see a few milk bottles and on entering the section where the loaders are there is obviously some ground texture missing (grid visible on ground). I'm assuming that these are the HH contributions? Secondly, I have set up a free roam scenario with just a single loco. Having driven from the junction with the "main line" to the end of the quarry and back (having set a clear route) there are a couple of signals that have to be tabbed in order to pass them. Is this normal?
Thanks
Paul
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 13. apr. 2016 kl. 3:10
All of My scenarios will have the pre-text "WQ" to assist in looking for my scenarios done for this route. eg WQ.01. A Quick Turn-around, or WQ.02. Limestone for Dagenham
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2016 kl. 20:06
This addition is free from the Workshop, but you will need at least 2 items of payware from RSC to make it work. North Somerset and Hatchet Hill Quarry.
Cattleman18 3. apr. 2016 kl. 16:37
Do I have to puchase this or is it free. does it require other downloads that cost money?
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. 2016 kl. 17:13
I discovered the first building was not properly lined up with the track, I tweeked it, then re-sized the two buildings, making them slightly higher and wider. That sorted it for the JHA and the class 59.

Thanks, RolandBP, for confirming my thoughts about the loaders/wagons. In regard to the building at loading lane 1, I've noticed that it actually seems to lean downward a bit to the right, as viewed from the front. That is, a JHA passing through it from right to left breaks through its roof at first, but eventually is covered completely. Now that I think about it, perhaps the trackage running through it slopes a bit?
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2016 kl. 22:18
tompallen. Hi again, you are spot on. Those tall Hoppers I have on Loading Lanes 3 and 4 will not load the JHA wagons nor the little catfish wagons, they only load the YGH and PGA wagons, that I have tested. All 4 of the wagons mentioned will load with the Hatchet Hill Loader and that small "diagonal pipe" type you mentioned. I don't like the look of that last one so I have fitted both of them inside that tall Industrial Building next to Loading Lane 1. There is one problem with that Industrial Building and that is it is too low for the JHA wagons and the mainline locos like the class 59. I will be having a go at altering its height later tonite.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2016 kl. 18:44
Oh cheers m8y, I must admit to not having tried all of the 4 wagons I have been using under those hoppers above Loading Lanes 3 and 4 nor the one at the far end of lane 1. I hope you have the Weardale and Teesdale route as I have 2 large Quarry Buildings that stem from the Stevens Pass Route which so many of the latest people to the sim do not have access to. The entrance into the Quarry looks rather bare without them. Same and another similar one come with the "W + T" assets, which of course is very popular and readily available.
tompallen 1. apr. 2016 kl. 11:58
Roland, what I've discovered is that the two types of loaders you used are capable of loading only certain hoppers. For example, the loaders that look like a diagonal pipe will load JHA stone hoppers, but the ones that feature a sort of flap hanging above the track will not. This is, I believe, up to the person who made each loader, certainly not to you or me. We just have to figure out which hoppers match with which loaders. So, I've taken that as my current project.
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2016 kl. 6:05
To all Subscribers: You don't need the Freightliner class 57 either, that was due to a scenario I had used.
Deadly-Dorito 1. apr. 2016 kl. 6:05
Ah ok, i will have a look when i get the chance :)
RolandBP  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2016 kl. 6:03
Deadly-Dorito You can get it as there only some of the USA loaders that will be missing. The main stuff is all there including the Hatchet Hill Loaders, Wagon and Loco sheds and All except possibly one of the Quarry Buildings. All Signals and greenery are standard stuff. Check out the comments in the "Old Forums".
Deadly-Dorito 1. apr. 2016 kl. 5:36
looks great, shame UK poeple cant get it

tompallen 31. mar. 2016 kl. 13:24
Well, I now have all the required items and have taken a look at your route, which is quite good. I started writing a scenario for it and discovered that the loaders will not load the JHA stone hopper that appears in your screenshot. At his point, I'm not sure why, but will continue to investigate.
