The campaign you've made is so incredibly fun!
I had success with [MAGA] Region Trading (Reloaded) by Aurelinus, loading that mod before yours enabled me to be able to force swap regions with the AI.
I had hoped to be able to gift and trade, but hey! This is the next best thing and at least it's possible to move the pieces of the puzzle around, different strategy required 😊
Anyway, thanks again - I will be checking out the rest of your content, good Sir 😍

I have no idea about that. I'm pretty sure there was a mod for Rome 2 and the same things should more or less apply for Attila

Absolutely love what you've done here, brought me back to the game many years later and enjoying myself so far 😊 Great to see you're still active on here too!
Is there any way that you know of where we can trade regions in game?
Been playing lots of Troy and it is SUCH an amazing feature. Even if it is purely a gift, as I understand the AI might not know how to value the deal.
I am trying to use any of the later versions of the [MAGA] Region Trading mods to find something that still works these days.
Any advice would be incredible mate, thank you so much for what you've done for the community!

Could you reskin the Berber units faces to the Middle Eastern faces made by CA? The Berber people looked very similar to Arabs, not black people. Thank you.

Can you please remove those kite shields please. The units look beautiful but the kite shield is anachronistic by three hundred years. Please I hope you can replace them with round shields because otherwise the mod is spot on.

Ok so after testing it seems this mod should go way down the the load order right at or near the bottom. It's 2nd last in my load order and it works now :lunar2019piginablanket:

My game crashes when using this mod. I'm using a few small mods like flora, bright weapons, perfomance maker, skip intro, more detailed unit stats, natural water and battle camera mod.

This mod defaults to the top of the load order. Is there a place I should be putting this in the load order?

ah never mind, I forgot that Attila uses this upgrade system. That's a shame, I much prefer variety where I have levies, professionals and elites all in one army, as in all their other titles. But thanks for making this mod, I'm looking to get back into Attila while my mods get updated for the Warhammer patch and your byzantine overhaul is the only reason i am playing. looking forward to trying it.

Hey how do I recruit Byzantine units? The base buildings only allow recruiting the levies and then a few cavalry units and then the Numeroi Guardsmen.

Hey, man. You did a great job on this mod. I have a question though. I noticed that the different arrow type symbols in the UI do not match the correct arrow types when I turn on this mod. Not too big of a deal but just wanted to mention it.

GIMP is a free photoshop, like tool. You may need it for editing images.

PFM is needed for changing values in the databasel.

Hello Sebidee, been a long time fan of your mods since Christianity buff and this made my Charlemagne campaigns a lot more interesting. I've been interested in creating a AOC vanilla style unit/faction mod that adds maybe 3-4 units to existing factions and fleshes out some non-playable ones but I have no clue on how to Mod Attila. I have plenty of M2 modding experience and I'm wondering if you could point to a "for dummies" unit creation tutorial or give some pointers.

Here is the Google Docs of what I have in mind basically, something more small scale and in line with Vanilla AOC (which for it's blandness has excellent balancing and distinct faction playstyles.

I added an elite tier to the Irish faction and also reskinned the Irish units.

I'm playing a campaign as them right now and wanted to spruce them up a little.

Hi Dimych, yes unfortunately I only have the English localisation. You could switch the language to English or there may be a translation pack avaliable somewhere

Yeah that's right Snacko. It's hard to get the info in the tech trees although they should be there.

I have full guides done out on the TWC forums for all the units. The link to there is in the mod description.

@Ted Cruise It is hidden. There are certain technologies that unlock the units from this mod. You'll have to look it up on TW Center or somewhere. I remember looking it up before for my campaign.

started a game as the danes. im at around turn 60. I can't recruit about a third of the units that show up in my recruitment tab. it says that I don't have the required tech for them, but i can find no reference to the units in the tech tree or building browser. anyone have an explanation?

@Sebidee, I solved the problem about the unlock of recruitment in the manor and market minor settlement (Sicily). In the building_units_allowed_tables there wern't the abovementioned buildings.

About the faction trait of Sicily (the actual is: Economical specialization, -10% of corruption)
I would like to change it in order to make it more hystorical, anyway I tried many times to do it but that faction traits is still there…..I don't know how you add it to the Sicily faction.

Please, can you help me?

@Sebidee, I'm playing a campaign using your mod (charlemagne expanded) and I noticed that with the Byzantine empire I cannot recruit any units in the manor and market minor settlements.

How can I solve this problem? I can't even try to mod it because you mod doesn't appear in my data folder

Hey Sebidee! Thank you for this MOD!! Attila is my favorite TW and I love AoC however always hated the limited unit roster in vanilla and how until mid game armies looked like peasants war. So thank you, I do have one question tho. I cant seem to unlock mailed spearman for some reason and I dont see them in the tech tree either. Any suggestions?

Yeah the new units will be there, but all of the vanilla units that existed in your save will be there as well so it will be all screwy and unbalanced. I wouldn't recommend playing that way.
