...when it was opened anyway.
See that's what I love about RICO, I used to fill my cities up with unique buildings which looked nice but took up a lot of space (particularly in downtown areas).
The building eyedropper tool is nice, BUT, it doesn't stop buildings from being abandoned or leveld up. With RICO you can actually make districts with buildings you like.
Any thoughts on making a music store, bookstore and maybe restaurant? That'd add a lot of variety.
As for the malls, there are two big custom asset malls already, though they are unique buildings, not RICO.
I had a brief though of connecting it with other stores as a part of a larger shopping mall, but I got overwhelmed at just the thought. This will probably be my only large department store though.
Yea, I was turned off by the what I thought RICO was, I initially just thought it was a way to plop zonable default buildings which I wasn't interested in. I only started using it when I started creating assets and they were too big to squeeze into 4x4. It's really a nice add on to the game to be able to have much larger buildings that work rather than cramming everything into Unique Buildings that don't really function.
I REALLY enjoy these stores, especially them being RICO enabled. I don't understand why the RICO mod isn't more popular, it's simply a genius mod.
