BBxlbjorn, hey man!

Groetjes!

Puik werk, Arjan!! Juqt a question though: the buildings do not seem to have the class as advertised. Prison acts like a normal residential. So does the castle (and they are not happy sitting on a rock far from services). Any way to fix this? Dankje!

These are beautiful and add a lot to my medieval village but the service buildings are over powered.

thank you so much for taking the time to make these. I loved anno 1404 and it's wonderful to use these in my city.

If your interested in doing it yourself... It is somewhat troublesome :P You need to have installed Anno 1404 first of all. U need something like 3Ds Max and learn to invert or reset normals because otherwise the models are fucked up :P Also u need to extract models from anno 1404. U need some program that is not that easy to use for that. And then u need something like photoshop to recolor or adjust the contrast / brightness and saturation of the textures because otherwise they will look a bit fake and cartoonish in cities skylines. Anyways... It takes time. Way less time compared to creating your own models but still too much time for me ;)
SimoG 9 Aug, 2016 @ 4:39am
ah I understand, thanks anyway :)
MR. HAPPY  [author] 9 Aug, 2016 @ 3:10am
I stopped working on this collection because I dindt have the time + I did make some models myself but a lot of the models are from anno 1404. Because some people messaged me saying this was probably not legal... I also saw that as a reason to stop. I'm capable of making my own models like the old Grachtenpand and the walls and stuff... but it takes a lot of time. :)

Hi. awesome your Asset.
I have one small request to make.

I'm building, in my city, a small tourist medieval village. Unfortunately hotels that appear are skyscrapers that are badly next to your buildings.
You could add some assets in the category commercial tourism in order to align them to this style? Would be great.

Thank you
Hube22 (FR) 10 Jul, 2016 @ 9:21am
Thank you. how to use the walls in play? Where to find them?
MrMiyagi 31 May, 2016 @ 4:42pm
OMG How on Earth did I miss all this? Spin you can use Building Themes by District mod, it allows you to fully control whatever spawns of any category
The Crap Slapper 15 May, 2016 @ 8:57am
Can you add a medieval themed bus station or an airport? that would look so unique in any city!!!
Rebelussy 7 May, 2016 @ 6:58am
Arjan, I love these assets. Is there any chance of making a theme for them to control where they spawn? Or making plopable RICO versions of these?
Sidai 25 Apr, 2016 @ 7:50am
ah ok, Thank you! :)
MR. HAPPY  [author] 24 Apr, 2016 @ 6:50am
Walls and tower are props... I dont know which tab tbh :P maybe the low residential tab? xD The houses you have to activate in a theme. You need to use a mod for this probably. Something like district styles manager.
Sidai 24 Apr, 2016 @ 4:54am
I'm sorry, but where can i find the houses an walls ingame? BTW they look great!

beautiful!
MR. HAPPY  [author] 22 Apr, 2016 @ 12:25am
I would love too but I got most models from another game :P Just the 2 "Grachtenpanden" are mine and the walls + tower. If I had to make all the other models myself + texturing.... Well that would be possible but it would be a fulltime project. Since I have a fulltime job, Its hard to combine the 2 :) And im not sure if a kickstarter project funding us 2 as 2 moddelers for cities skylines would work :P
CombatWombat 21 Apr, 2016 @ 7:01am
I was thinking of doing this for my senior thesis project. We should contact each other about working on this project because I would love to help.
gzmanwda 20 Apr, 2016 @ 12:54am
cool!
EternalSoap 19 Apr, 2016 @ 11:43am
Awesome :)!
MR. HAPPY  [author] 17 Apr, 2016 @ 11:14am
@Baronjutter Yea I know :P I learned how to use 3Ds max just 1 week ago and I just use it for some stuff. The actually moddeling happens in SolidWorks. I don't know yet how to optimize the models. Besides.... the other buildings from Anno 1404, They seem optimized but I did use the higher LOD models. The lower LOD models just seem bad. I just like the detail in the models. Besides, a medieval town doesn't need 10000 buildings so maybe its fine even for slower PC's :) I hope :D Thanks anyways for the compliment. Maybe someday I can optimize the models.
baronjutter 17 Apr, 2016 @ 10:03am
Very cool pack, but the file size per building seems way too high for skylines.
MR. HAPPY  [author] 17 Apr, 2016 @ 8:29am
Maybe yea. But first I want to get all the normal buildings. The buildings you need.
ClumsyDentist 17 Apr, 2016 @ 8:25am
Great, love the Anno games. Sad that C:S is lacking some of the depth, I would love to have the same challenge getting high level buildings as I have had in Anno. Are you planing to add lightning?
MR. HAPPY  [author] 17 Apr, 2016 @ 5:40am
Not yet :)
Buzz Dripyear 17 Apr, 2016 @ 5:32am
is there a unique building? or a gate to the city?
Captain Soap 17 Apr, 2016 @ 3:43am
Anno 1404 *lovelovelove*
Captain-No 16 Apr, 2016 @ 4:20pm
Therefore the question...i love the game too...i playd the mod I.A.A.M: http://iaam1404.projectanno.de/index.htm
look forward to what's coming :-)
MR. HAPPY  [author] 16 Apr, 2016 @ 3:40pm
I mean captain :P ur german right... Anno 1404 is a german game.... U should recognize the buildings :P ? maybe? I hope u ever played Anno 1404 cuz I loved that game :D
MR. HAPPY  [author] 16 Apr, 2016 @ 3:37pm
The walls and tower I made myself but the buildings (the houses) are extracted from Anno 1404, imported into 3DS max and saved. I reworked the textures (more dark and less saturation) otherwise its too colorfull in cities skylines. But yes. The houses are from Anno 1404 :)
Captain-No 16 Apr, 2016 @ 3:29pm
from the game anno 1404?
