XSkin would work if you had a weapon with the right stats that you could swap in, but I did mean Weapon Skin Replacer itself. That allows you to set up custom stats and change other item values for a given weapon template.

You can find internal template names by looking through a mod's files (localization is often easiest), or by using the FindWeapon console command from my main console commands mod.

@Meyson7T: Just do what XpanD says and use skin replacer mod(XSkin) if you're on WotC. It works with this mod. Also the damage isn't "low", ti's the base game values, lol.

Please! I have all of Harley Quinn's arsenal and that's all I need to make it perfect! But the weapon, even in T3, has low damage. Is it possible to have an update or add text so we can modify the damage of her weapon ourselves? I would really like it to be strong! PLSSS

Something like Weapon Skin Replacer should be able to do it if you want to get into the weeds with that.

damage is not modifiable - it should be the same as the base ranger weapons.

Seems to work in WOTC from a quick in-barracks test, but it is indeed limited to the Ranger only. (and the Samurai, possibly any class that can take a full melee secondary?)

My understanding is that weapons not explicitly coded for LW2 will not upgrade past tier 1. So yes, it should work - it probably will not upgrade though.

Update: Added AbilityDescName attributes to weapon templates due to issues regarding certain weapon messages.

This is shown on the blademaster skill and something similar but not 100% identical is also shown on the Slash skill when the rookie first becomes a Ranger. It looks to me like some UI strings were altered with the DLC.

Can you provide the exact text for this message? As far as I know, I should only have to provide the DisplayName in the XcomGame.int file, which I've done. Sounds like a bug with the game itself, unless you can provide an example weapon mod I can look at which doesnt have this issue.

I have just found a bug with this mod. Start a new game. Play for a bit. Choose to upgrade the hammer (before upgrading any other melee stuff). The hammer is now the best melee in the game, and crucialy the new default. Use the GWC to train a rookie into a ranger. A dialog will pop up informing you that your new weapon now does more damage. This dialog works for the default sword and axe but has missing strings for the hammer.

Update Note: Modified code due to reported bug with multiple instances of weapons not allowed after the update. Should only impact the tier 1 version. May be necessary to start a new campaign though based on initial testing.

Sigh. I was looking at the animation editor yesterday - it does look like a nightmare figuring out how to use it. I think I'd need a few courses.

Yo Batmod guy here. The sounds are actually embedded in the animation. Enjoy the nightmare that is unpacking them and changing the sounds on all the animations!

well, interestingly, the Batmod guy does manage to have unique 'thud" and "shunk" sound effects for his bat and combat knife. think the thud is a reuse of the sound for knocking out a dark VIP

@Arkhangel, looking at his code, he's using "Sword_Equip_Conventional" for his equip sound, so not sure where the "thud" would be coming from. I'll resubscribe and see if he's made any changes.

@Yamino, I might work on the other model of her hammer, the Red and Black, as a tintable weapon in the future. I'm working on another project atm though, so it might be a while. I was also hoping to start making some hats/helmets, so we'll see.
