@gravdestroyer:
No. There's a separate WotC version.
gravdestroyer 5 Nov, 2018 @ 11:45pm
Does this work with WOTC?
Dragon32 9 Sep, 2017 @ 2:33am
@dimitrisgp:
Presumably you're not running this with WoTC. Have a read of these:
Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all , but grab the Community Mod Launcher [github.com].
Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?
dimitrisgp 8 Sep, 2017 @ 1:43pm
Something really weird is happening. Having this mod enabled crashes the game when i click play on the launcher. It happened when I first installed it, then it worked for a bit now I got 7 crashes now. I turned off all others and still the same :/
Dęąth Viper 30 Aug, 2017 @ 12:56pm
awesome keep us updated
-bg-  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 11:16am
ok so the visualisation system changes broke this mod, will upload a new one once I tested my fixed version
harlequin565 30 Aug, 2017 @ 12:23am
Also getting CTD on launch with this mod. Getting easier to test now that there's a new AML released.
thunderbeast 29 Aug, 2017 @ 11:31pm
This mod cause crash when I started game.
Damn. I hate mod issues when game updated, I feel sorry for modders. T.T
Dęąth Viper 29 Aug, 2017 @ 7:57pm
what mods are working for you darkendragon??
DarkenDragon 29 Aug, 2017 @ 7:48pm
it doesnt seem to be working for me, I've been going through my mod list activating them one by one, this one crashes the game when I have it active.
-bg-  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16pm
I think this is one of the few mods that should straight up work in wotc
Rabid Dutchman 29 Aug, 2017 @ 2:25pm
Will this work with WotC?
pauloel7 20 Aug, 2017 @ 6:13am
Sure... but the idea is to provide full ammo for close combat specialist.
-bg-  [author] 19 Aug, 2017 @ 11:25pm
You can just, well, use the free action reload on the next turn before shooting....
pauloel7 19 Aug, 2017 @ 9:19pm
@bg: would it be possible to allow free-reloading with no actions remaining? After all it's free, right? That would have the advantage of further optimizing ammo on heavy engagements.
Roytulin 24 Jul, 2017 @ 11:48pm
Didn't read that, my bad :P
-bg-  [author] 24 Jul, 2017 @ 4:23pm
'This mod modifies all weapon upgrades with free reload functionality.'
kind of already implies any alternative implementation of free reload will not work with this.
Roytulin 24 Jul, 2017 @ 3:13am
Seems like this doesn't work with the an item 'Prototype Auto-loader' in the mod 'weapon upgrades extended' (or similar). Interferes with functionality of said item. Not a big problem, just thought you may wanna put a new entry into the description here.

@ Lux Manifestus, Phantom:
Dragon32 24 Apr, 2016 @ 11:24am
Using this with Cost Based Ability Colors seems fine.

Small issue in that the free reload counter is duplicated on both of the reload icons, rather than just the auto loader one. They're still graphically distinct from each other though.

-bg- [author] 24 Apr, 2016 @ 7:02pm
ya because the reload counter on normal reload is added by cost based ability colors and it doesn't check if those autoloaders are actually autoloaders (through FreeReloadCostFn).
------------------------------------------
Not sure if you're using Cost Based Ability Colors?
Lux Manifestus 19 Jun, 2017 @ 12:46pm
Yeah I've also been getting the charge quantity number in the normal reload ability icon as well lately. I'm not running LW 2.
Phantom 18 Jun, 2017 @ 12:57pm
Thanks works very well for me. Also in LW2 1.4. the only thing is, that it shows the normal reload ability as a free action with charges, but thats only visually i think.
ebeneezerdahk 22 Mar, 2017 @ 10:11pm
Works very well, not encountered any issues with LW2 or any other mod. Thanks -bg- !
Alketi 13 Mar, 2017 @ 5:45pm
Looks really useful. However, just a quick note, your description confused me as to its use.

I think your first sentence should be written "...allowing you to save free reloads for later when you DON'T have action points to spare."

i.e. you use the free reload when you have no spare action points for a normal reload. The current wording seems to imply the opposite.

Anyway, thanks for the useful mod. Cheers.
Edelguard 11 Mar, 2017 @ 2:57am
Great mod!
-bg-  [author] 6 Mar, 2017 @ 7:44pm
the compability chart is quite misleading there, it only don't work for 1 mission if you first load it inside a mission
Telapoopy 6 Mar, 2017 @ 6:27pm
Been using it for LW2. Despite the LW2 Compatibility chart saying it's glitched, I've had no problems other than the normal reload being green as if it is also a free action.
Dragon32 21 Jan, 2017 @ 9:06am
FYI, there's this comment on Long War 2 compatability:
Compatible, but glitched in tactical when used.

HoltKezed 19 Jan, 2017 @ 7:15pm
Time to test with LW2, it seems their auto loaders doesn't have this functionality. Indeed the free reload upgrade did not make any sense before this mod!!
matthias 8 Nov, 2016 @ 3:20pm
The free reload upgrade did not make any sense before this mod. Great work Dude.
iAmAPumpkin 6 Aug, 2016 @ 2:38am
(feature request) With this mod, reload+shoot and reload+overwatch are always better on blue moves than shoot and overwatch, respectively. Would it be possible to automatically (silently/quickly) reload before shooting or overwatching with a blue move?

Alternatively, an optional -5 aim penalty to any shot/overwatch taken after reloading this turn would also break the dominance of reloading first.
Sir Luis 9 Jul, 2016 @ 12:32pm
please add a reload all button
SerenityNow 5 Jun, 2016 @ 2:01am
Great mod; this actually makes auto-reloader for some classes viable compared to simply getting expanded ammunition.
TOMekbok 13 May, 2016 @ 10:55am
Does this work with the new dlc?
Loso3svk 8 May, 2016 @ 10:54pm
does this work with grimmy loot mod?
BrotherBabyface 29 Apr, 2016 @ 2:17am
Awesome, another one that I can't believe took this long for anyone to think of, thank you! PS - I agree with KnowledgeableAnt, the name is misleading (as is the action name in the UI). I'd call the mod "Selectable Autoload" and the action "Auto-Load".
YoshiFetus 27 Apr, 2016 @ 2:51pm
great mod. But I would suggest a different title because the title sound like infinite free reloads
DoctorDabPHD 27 Apr, 2016 @ 7:42am
GLORIOUS
GreedKilledEarth 26 Apr, 2016 @ 2:22pm
Thank you, smart idea and shame on devs not doing that before you :)
CocoonMaN 26 Apr, 2016 @ 9:13am
I meant cost based ability colours.. not coloured icons. My bad.
Cornelian 25 Apr, 2016 @ 3:07pm
Thank you again for this very useful mod! :-)
Bullett00th 25 Apr, 2016 @ 4:47am
This is great, thank you!

HALLELUJAH!
CocoonMaN 23 Apr, 2016 @ 9:01am
Thank you BG. Thank you for your work and time.
-bg-  [author] 22 Apr, 2016 @ 12:00pm
It should work with it, as I don't override that part.
CocoonMaN 22 Apr, 2016 @ 8:33am
Anybody know if this works with coloured icons?
Blue Oyster Cultist 21 Apr, 2016 @ 10:07pm
THANK YOU! Now I can have my heavy reload before a door breach without it feeling like a waste of resources!
-bg-  [author] 21 Apr, 2016 @ 6:58pm
yup R still uses only normal reload
You are an absolute force of nature, bountygiver.
