Thanks for the info Jd.Horx. the Limit does hurt a little to my plan but most of your news is good. I planned to make a D shaped hanger that when large ship/fighters launch the floor tilts up for drone size launches and same goes from the top from 1 side. Complicated but would be really cool if it could be done.

1. If you are able to make those drones small enough, it should work, but I dont recomment it.
2. If you connect a drone to the mothership, it will be assigned virtually to a connector, but not the one you connected it to at first. (funny, huh?)
3. I dont know if the script is able to handle connectors that are on a rotor connected grid, so make sure, the PB is on the same grid as the connectors.
Remember that you are at the moment limited to 20 fighter drones and 4 frigates. All I wrote is based on the version I last used (first update I think) and could have changed by now.

JD.Horx this is awesome. couple of questions. A few things I couldn't make out. Does it work with 1 large block wide connectors for drone connections side by side (Think sardines)? do they return to the same connector they left or take any available. Last is can fighters land on a connector that is on a rotor panel that can flip out to launch? Got an idea for 1 bay door and side panel launchers come out to launch additional drones. No problem, just paste in the ship, add the sensor to the front, set it to max range, set ownership to "me" and the ship is ready to go.

i got an advance sensor, but when i want to spawn it its saying: missing mods

You don't need any mods. But I recommend you to use an advanced sensor (any version from the workshop will work) mod to track enemy ships for FleetCom and the drones.
Apart from that, the ship comes completely vanilla.

Heres a tip that helped me with connectors turn the magnitude to 50-100% it will fix the issue of drifting well it did for me

Ah cool that explains that. Yeah they really need to fix the connector issue because your build shouldn't need loads of landing gears just to secure things which should already be secured!

1. Connectors aren't named as connectors but in double digits from 00, 01, 02, ... until 70.
2. Connectors are bugged at the moment, they tend to drift away but technically the connection is still established (green markers). Just start all those fighters right after you paste this built, flying in formation is more fun anyways.

Why can't I find any of the connectors? I switched on the ability to see hidden blocks and I searched the whole thing. As soon as I moved even slightly all the small ships shifted and almost came loose.
I think they need landing gears (which they shouldn't as connectors should by default be able to handle this, Devs pls?)

Hey JD Horx, i noticed what you said about drones not pasting correctly. I think that could be because you have them linked up (what seems to be) exclusively with connectors. Connectors have issues and its safer to have them linked via connector for control AND landing gear for securing them in place. This also prevents issues when manuvering at high speeds. Its a problem I discovered while building escape pods.

Perhaps it'd just work best to replace the braces that you use to keep the fighters alligned properly with blast door blocks. Though, I don't know if they'd be more abbusive to the fighter when docking. I was half way going to mention the 'suicide burn' behavior of the fighters before I remembered that you were just the builder of the ships, not the script. :p

Well, thats a real pity, I look what I can do to update this...
However in my previous build, blast door blocks didnt seem airtight, so they probably arent the best choice to seal rooms.

Just a tip, but I feel like you would have been better served using blast door blocks instead of heavy armor blocks for the flight deck. There's this one particular drone on the top deck that explodes EVERY TIME it's loaded in.

Please keep your creations vanilla / non-modded.

If you can't build as good as JD, you can always try to mod it yourself. But of course do not publish without permissions or claim it fully as your creations.

Also it does not need to be vanilla. Like how would it fly in a planet's atmosphere with no propellers? So you can mod it. Also I don't care about the interior. You mostly don't see it except missions. Also if you are wondering where it came from. Its from Just cause 3 sky fortress DLC. Check out the game its awesome!
