De_Legacy was featured in the Reddit Playtest last week and Mendaxyz and I received much feedback. As a thank you, I want explain some specific issues that this experience helped us address:

The Ts reach the bombsites too quickly
While CTs had more than enough time to reach defensive cover themselves, many players felt rushed as Ts were often just around the corner. We moved the T spawn further from the bombsites to give the CTs more time to prepare.

The CTs have too many paths to watch
It became clear during testing that players, especially those who were unfamiliar with the layout, commonly left entrances unmonitored. To help, we added breakable doors blocking the path between the interior and CT spawn near the B bomb site. They make noise when broken to warn if players are pushing that bottleneck.

In addition, this newest update also includes higher quality textures for models, surface tweaks to help locate players via footstep sound, and strategically added cover.

This makes me feel bad about the map I am making

Just played in a reddit playtest. Looking forward to the future of this map.

One thing I noticed is that something about the art/detail work doesn't feel done. Maybe it's the clean, crisp feel of the map that makes it feel that way. Still something feels off about the textures and empty spaces.

For balance, there is simply too much for the CTs to handle. There are too many corridors/connectors for the Ts to use and they get there pretty quickly. A is particularly easy to take because there's no real chokepoint, and CTs get stuck in the back of the site.

I think the map would benefit from a bit of streamlining and simplification. Get rid of some nonessential pathing, corners, and extra spaces and this map would really shine.

All that said, there's simply too many good ideas and great artwork for this to become just another casual map. Keep up the awesome work!

from one playtest: on CT it feels like you have to defend way too many spots. timings favor the Ts too much in mid and on B and A is way too open to defend it properly since Ts pretty much always had mid.

There's also pretty much no close range battles other than what we called courtyard which makes it really annoying to play ecos.

The map looks stunning, however it seems that B site is very closed with little hidind spaces and few plant spots. Also there is a lot of unneeded space between A and B, making rotates seem very hard.

Nice map! Looks like a reskinned mirage, but better!

Needs more cover or small things to hide behind. It's too barebones as it is.

I just downloaded this map and i have a request. The gameplay becomes very strange in some areas because the lack of cover, please add some more boxes and similar things and you will improve the gameplay alot. Please don't take this as critique, your map is very pretty and has lots of good qualities.

Good map! :D I noticed that Counter Terrorists could be challegened when racing to B site, a fast bunny hopper could easily get there quicker than CT. Overall good map!
