EllyPelly 15 Jun, 2019 @ 4:40am
This mod caused the new insulation update on the clothes to not work, making my sim freeze to death :steamsad: Is this an issue just for me or for more people?
TalSh  [author] 17 May, 2018 @ 9:56am
Issue should be fixed. Source available here for future fixes, as I am no longer able to actively maintain updates.

There's an issue with loot distribution:
You need to use "clothesstore" instead of "clothingstore"
UpgradedHikingBags_dist.lua 36 and 37 line.
Please update ASAP.
Lilly 11 Aug, 2017 @ 3:20am
There are plenty of other overpowred bag mods on the workshop, no need to worry.
TalSh  [author] 9 Aug, 2017 @ 10:47am
I'm afraid not, though the last update seemed to fix all (most?) issues. Is there a problem?
LordPinkerton 25 Jun, 2017 @ 1:12am
Getting an error when adding this to a hosted game. Something about the distribution, starting on line 36. Think "clothingstore" should be "clothesstore" instead.
TalSh  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 2:00pm
Newest update seems to fix the lost items bug. I'd appreciate feedback.

ok, not sur in understand all the manip, my english was limited :D

i try it
TalSh  [author] 13 Jun, 2016 @ 5:22am
@+Kyu+ No, but this bug exists in Hydrocraft as well, and in any other mod that allows crafting on an item that is equipped on the back. Make sure you unequip the bag before crafting and everything should be OK. You may also want to empty it before.
[FR] Russell 12 Jun, 2016 @ 3:56am
"my best english"

did you find solutions? about the craft problem?
wanna try this mod:steamhappy:
TalSh  [author] 15 May, 2016 @ 11:20am
From what I can tell, since the latest mod update, crafting bags using the dedicated crafting menu will no longer allow you to use equipped bags for recipes. Only right clicking on an equipped bag and crafting through the pop up menu will cause the bug. Please craft using the dedicated menu until a solution is found.
TalSh  [author] 15 May, 2016 @ 5:11am
@Eraciel Thank you so much. I missed that. Sadly, I have no idea how to fix it. I've asked for help on the forums and will update when I know more. Thanks again.
Wolfram Steele 15 May, 2016 @ 4:20am
Hope this help, there is a bug where if you're equipping a bag on your back and that bag is used for the crafting materials, you can't equip anything on your back anymore as though there is something still on your back. Since the bag is not seen equipped, you can't unequipped it off your back. Only solution for me was dying
Gamesjunkie 13 May, 2016 @ 2:51am
nice mod, works fine with HydroCraft
TalSh  [author] 11 May, 2016 @ 12:41pm
@Spider I think so, but I don't use HC so I haven't tested myself. In terms of the mod, didn't modify any in game items, only added new ones. So unless there are identically named items in HC, I think it should be fine.
Spider 11 May, 2016 @ 12:18pm
Can this be used with the HydroCraft Mod?
TalSh  [author] 11 May, 2016 @ 7:27am
@Slush You did nothing wrong. The recipe for the large bag requires reading a sewing magazine. You need to find the magazine before you can see the recipe and make the bag.
Syb 11 May, 2016 @ 7:14am
er, *medium.
Syb 11 May, 2016 @ 7:14am
So, for some reason, large upgraded hiking bag doesn't show up? Mediuem and small show up though. did I do something wrong? I just, subscribed to the mod, is that not what I do?

I use the organized perk pretty often and christ, the Alice pack mod I have like 135 capacity it's insane. This seems like a more realistic approach, I'll have to try it out.
TromaVille Citizen 9 May, 2016 @ 12:16pm
:approved:
Latex Assassin 9 May, 2016 @ 12:15pm
depends on how modding for MP is compared to SP i mean its just a simple bag mod so as long as a client runs it and if needed the users to have the mod then it should work fine
TalSh  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 10:40am
@tintenherz1 Unless I misunderstood, it should. don't know, haven't tested. I haven't read anything about specifically adding MP support to a mod.
tintenherz1 9 May, 2016 @ 10:37am
is this working in mp?
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 1:14pm
not fully used it yet but since ive got hydrocraft added i can already tell this is going to be a life saver moving stacked pallets of wood
TalSh  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 11:54am
Got it working, but from what I've read here most people seem to think it's balanced the way it is. What do you guys think?
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 9:09am
long as you've defined where to find it such as bookcases, shelves etc. you shold be fine.
TalSh  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 6:53am
Distribution file is done, but I'm probably not understanding the numbers, as I haven't yet been able to find a magazine in game. Will continue to test.
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 5:06am
Good point deadly i usually find needle and thread easily but i dont use the ALICE mod due to that purpose so yeah this is actually a pretty well balanced bag mod
TalSh  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 4:53am
I made a mistake in the Mod Description. The Large Upgraded bag has a capacity of 37. Edited mod description. Any input on balancing it would be appreciated.
DeadlyDanDaMan 8 May, 2016 @ 4:42am
Honestly, the bag isn't that OP compared to other bag mods out on the workshop. Look at the ALICE pack mod for example, that has like 110 capacity and 95% weight reduction. You could carry an entire forts worth of gear with one of those. The 32 capacity in this mod fills up quicker than you think, even at 95% weight reduction. And the Needle and Thread aren't the easiest things to find in the game at Rare loot setting (Extremely Rare would make it ridiculously difficult to find), so it will take a while before you can craft the biggest bag, but not too long IMO.
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 1:50am
well i wouldnt make it easy to find but wouldnt make it rare, possibly same drop as a sledge hammer or an axe? not too common but not too rare
TalSh  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 1:48am
I'm slowly getting there. The recipes and required magazine are in. I just need to learn about distribution of the the magazine.
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 1:29am
I guess you could try looking at the already exisiting skill books for electrician that lets you use the generator and modify it or ask the guy over at hydrocraft for some tips
TalSh  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 1:28am
I originally wanted to tie it together with a Sewing skill book you have to read, but my knowledge of modding isn't quite there yet. I'm looking for examples on how to do this.
Latex Assassin 8 May, 2016 @ 12:29am
With a large upgraded bag looking that powerful (32 weight with 95 reduction wow) maybe intergrate it with a skill? or make a custom trait you need to pick for -4 skill points to be able to craft these
DeadlyDanDaMan 7 May, 2016 @ 11:29am
Simple and true to the Vanilla game. Well done:)
Gozer 7 May, 2016 @ 10:21am
awesome, thank you
