@Kodemunky

I am currently trying to work out what is wrong.

When I built these models, I just used Boformer's Building Themes Mod to get the houses to appear in a district.

This method still works.

However, I also can't get the game-native Styles to work either.

I will keep looking into it.

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, I have the theme selected for my city, but the more modern houses show up more than these do. Could someone explain to me what i'm doing wrong?

@Sir Velociraptor one day. Alas I have another year of a full time game-programming course to complete. So my time is really really full right now.

@Jimbobbedyjobob Are you planning on continuing this as a series? I would love to see more, especially some Victorian industrial buildings! After all, the whole family needs something to do during the day.

@davefresen, nope! Haven't touched them in over a year. They always were intended as growables.

Did you change anything? All of a sudden they work as growables :):):)

@davefresen

I had 3 Social Classes planned.
Each with the required 5 levels of wealth for their buildings.

I satill have the almost finished base Middle-Class House mesh in a folder... waiting...

Love the designs btw!

COngrats on your course! Would love it if you turned these into growables! I want to build an entire grimey neighbourhood with these assets, but given the fact that they don't snap, it's a bit of a pain in the ass :(

@MadTech I knoooow!
I really want to. But I'm on a full time, 2 year, game programming course since Oct 2016.
Learning to code is taking up all my time!

But, hopefully, I'll be able to add better functionality to Victoria! in the future ;)

I love these old grimey Victorian buildings, "please sir, can I have some more" - sorry my oliver twist impression sucked :steamfacepalm: LOL

But seriously, these add so much more character and possibilities to C:S, that it would be a shame not to complete the whole theme, eventually. :steamsad:

Hey if nayone is actually following this:

Would you like me to continue working on these models?
I'm doing a full time course now, so I don't have a lot of time.
Also, the way the houses are built, as Accessories, kinda irks me, because they disappear and leave just the chimneys when you zoom out.

However, I still REALLY want to be able to play Cities in a grim, 19th Century British way.....

In fact, part of the reason I decided to DO this GameDesign Course was because to make Victoria! into the game I think it should be, I'd need to change a lot of the fundamental aspects of some of the game mechanics.

I want to MAKE it, not just Mod it! :D

@simonec16

Hey thanks, that's nice of you.
But I am preyy busy at the moment with my game course, so sadly Victoria! is on hold.
I would LOVE to get back to it though!
