Unfortunately, I'm not a modder, and I certainly have never done a train station. I know that, in former times, you needed to place some kind of pedestrian connections on a station when you removed the original ones (I don't see any on your station in the editor), but I don't know whether you still need those nowadays. I can try and find a solution for this, if you don't want to go and ask around yourself.
