Okay, so I've finished a proposed perk tree and put it up here

I'd love to get some peer review action going.
Mid-Boss  [author] 6 Jul, 2019 @ 8:15am
Yeah that's fine.
SabaraOne 5 Jul, 2019 @ 5:23pm
Hey, I'm pretty sure from the source comments that the answer is basically yes, but just for CYA reasons, can I go about making a proper LW2 port?
battashop 10 Jun, 2019 @ 3:49am
Hi man, wanna help me? Im using this mod with a bounch of others, like commander's choice. When a mate reach the squaddie rank, the cpu class doesnt show up. Where and what should i send to you? which ini?

Morcalvin 5 Sep, 2017 @ 7:01am
Oh thank the gods you're making it compatible
rkraiem100 4 Sep, 2017 @ 2:21pm
Will it work with WOTC or do we have to wait for an update?
[AO]End of Hero 30 Aug, 2017 @ 4:35pm
Cool! Glad to hear it. :)
Mid-Boss  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 9:40am
Yeah, I'm planning to make a version for it after I've played through a WotC campaign.
[AO]End of Hero 30 Aug, 2017 @ 4:33am
Any plans to make it compatible with WotC? It's one of my favorite classes. :)
Kaldin 22 Aug, 2017 @ 6:55am
Ah, I see. Well, that kinda sucks for people playing LW2. :x
Mid-Boss  [author] 22 Aug, 2017 @ 6:42am
From what I remember (I don't play with LW2 either), LW2 changes pistols from the secondary weapon slot to a different slot. Since my custom class makes use of pistols as a secondary, it causes issues like not being able to use anything other than the default tier 1 pistol in LW2.
Kaldin 21 Aug, 2017 @ 12:53pm
But shouldn't it be compatible, just missing the last rank-up(I think you just won't be able to do that) and not having a 3rd skill-column? :x
I don't play LW2, so not sure. :mbfraika:
Sonicfanx1 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:27am
Aw. What a shame.
Mid-Boss  [author] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:12am
No, it hasn't been updated to work with LW2.
Sonicfanx1 21 Aug, 2017 @ 8:12am
Is this Long War compatiable?
DestroyerJamie 20 Aug, 2017 @ 7:19am
Just a problem that happens with LW2 is that I can't equip them with pistols (don't know about mag or beam, but laser you can't). Apart from that this is a solid class. What I mostly find with custom classes is that they try to fuse two classes together, IMO if I wanted to have a Psiop and a specialist *Cough* Void Specialist *Cough* I'll have them in the squad already. I think that's just me.
rkraiem100 1 Aug, 2017 @ 2:00pm
This is amazing!!! I dont know if the class is even good but who cares, its a Neptunia mod for Xcom 2 which automatically makes it worth using imo
Rokoshy 19 Jun, 2017 @ 11:02am
On behalf of all Neptunia fans, (or just me), thank you.
Dęąth Viper 31 May, 2017 @ 1:13pm
Got it! So basically you just copy and paste anywhere in the gamedata file. the location is in the description in the other guys mod! ty MLG
Mid-Boss  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 1:04pm
Open "XComGameData" in the cofig folder, then add the two lines.
Dęąth Viper 31 May, 2017 @ 12:46pm
this is all still new to me. so I go into the config folder and which document do I click on??
Mid-Boss  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 11:34am
Just putting them at the bottom under everything else should be fine.
Dęąth Viper 31 May, 2017 @ 11:19am
where exactly do I add those lines?
Mid-Boss  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 9:01am
There's a section at the bottom of its mod page explaining how to make it work with custom classes. If you can track down the "XComGameData.ini" file for the tactical rigging mod you can add these two lines to it which should get it working:

+AbilityUnlocksGrenadePocket=HDD;
+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket=HDD;
Dęąth Viper 30 May, 2017 @ 7:20am
can you please update this mod so its compatible with tactical rigging thanks
dirtnoise 23 Jan, 2017 @ 2:07am
Great concept mod that perfectly fits into the game. Finally I can mark enemies!

I'll try it out more before I give my final verdict, I want to level up my CPUs and not get spoiled by the page info.
Blueheart 30 Oct, 2016 @ 3:14pm
I really wish this was compatable with the LW Perk mod otherwise tthis is great.
Mokai 29 Oct, 2016 @ 10:09am
I genuinely love the concept and execution of this class. To anyone on the fence about downloading it: give it a chance! =)
Wulfe of Legend 20 Sep, 2016 @ 11:44pm
I am glad someone else asked about the mobilty, I was just thinking 2 was 1 too many, and decided that if I sub I will have to nerf this a bit...
Mid-Boss  [author] 30 Jun, 2016 @ 6:07am
Yeah, you should be able to if you can find the 'CPU_AbilitySet.uc' file.
These two lines can just have the '2' swapped for a '4'

MOVE.AddPersistentStatChange(eStat_Mobility, 2);
Template.SetUIStatMarkup(class'XLocalizedData'.default.MobilityLabel, eStat_Mobility, 2);
marshmallow justice 30 Jun, 2016 @ 1:14am
*i haven't subbed yet which is just why I'm asking :steamhappy:
marshmallow justice 30 Jun, 2016 @ 1:14am
Hey Mudkip, is the amount of mobility given by Swiftness able to be modified? I'd like to add this skill to Lucubrations Scout class in place of another one, akin to the original Sprinter ability from LW (+4 mobility)
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:21am
the PROGRAM won't take long to figure out, but...
What language does it use? I'm not 100% sure...
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:18am
I need to repeat it:
THANK YOU SO MUCH :steamhappy: .
Hopefully it won't take too long to figure things out, but it seems simple enough.
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:16am
...it now works.
THANK YOU for the help
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:14am
but I think I faild to INSTALL the other parts
I'll see in a second
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:14am
error before booting
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:13am
I think I've got it
Mid-Boss  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:13am
Just wondering - can you get the start page up? Or does it pop up with a error box before it boots up?
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:09am
...I have those...?
It must be something else...?
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:08am
ok, thanks. I'm looking now
Mid-Boss  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 11:03am
Steam > Steamapps > common > XCOM 2 SDK > Binaries > Redlist

Should be: UEE3Redlist.exe and vs_isoshell.exe
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 10:58am
ah, I see
...which items?
and, you're welcome
Mid-Boss  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 10:57am
Not sure of the exact link, but you can look online for "Visual Studio Isolated Shell 2013" if you don't already have it. That might fix it. Theres also a few items that come with the dev tools which need to be installed.

Also, thanks for all the ideas!
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 10:51am
oh, BTW, (this is off topic) I keep getting an error message when I try to launch the Development Tools telling me that I'm missing (a) part(s) of it, and should reinstall.
I've reinstalled, but there is no change.
Any idea what I'm missing?
spockvulcan19 11 Jun, 2016 @ 10:47am
V's statement DOES make sense... just, the squaddies are going to have a little problem with recovery time (% of max health), but that ALSO makes sense - squaddies find it harder to use the ability, so...
you have a few options here, so choose whichever one you like!
(final note: If you choose the def. debuff, it would be interesting if you made the debuff higher with difficulty)
Kaldin 11 Jun, 2016 @ 9:12am
Personally I like the idea of giving a debuff that increases the damage on the next hit to them by 1(or maybe 2?), thus still giving a risk, without making them being hurt by using HDD.
Although, it still makes some sense that they can't go on the next mission after it if it's very soon after the previous mission, as from Neptunia-canon, HDD is supposed be exhausting.
