Greetings. Great mod. Banners in my opinion fit into the atmosphere better than vanilla. Is there a version of this mod without renaming fractions?

This is literally the best banner and name overhaul in both workshops. Cant wait until this gets ported to TW2

Yes it is going to be uploaded to the Warhammer 2 workshop to be used in Mortal Empires, i am just trying to work out the preperations for moving them over, as well as working on some new mods at the same time :)

y if it possible for me to put out a request for you to make a version of the banner for the: wh_main_chs_chaos_separatists which controls the flags for the chaos gathering faction and give them a more tzeetch focused banner instead? since they are a faction lead by a greater deamon of tzeetch?

I am against the bigger factions/races getting confederate renaming, but i have been thinking about releasing confederate submod to this one, but as of right now alot of my time is dedicated getting another mod done, so it won't until after if i decide to do it.

Releasing Names only, Banners only versions and as mentioned above even Full Confederate Names submod is something i am considering, but it won't be right now.

A name only version would be fab.

I really like the changes looks great! If I may, I would like to ask that if you conferdate as the Reikland and Courone (or any other faction?) that the faction gets renamed to The Empire of Sigmar or something, and Kingdom of Bretonnia.

This update has been long overdue, which is why it is so big. What was supposed to only be an update for the Vampire counts turned into doing all of The Empire and Wood Elves, plus som tweaking on Dwarfs and Orcs as well.

UPDATE PART 2

Name Changes

The only name changes in this update is the 2 of the playable factions in Sylvania, the reason for these name changes are with the Von Carsteins becomming a playable faction i wanted to give a better theme and reason behind naming of the 3 factions and what i came up with is the name each of the factions after the dominant castle in each region and adding a confederation name for the Vampire factions turning them in Sylvania.

Vampire counts faction formerly know as "Sylvania" now known as - Drakenhof

Von Carsteins now known as - Sternieste


Confederation Names

Confederation renaming have now been added in a limited amount to the mod, affecting only Vampire Counts and Wood Elves, the reason behind this is as they are small confederating with even just a 1 territory faction means they have half if not more of their race's lands.

Vampire Count factions become - Sylvania

Wood Elf factions become - Athel Loren

I am sorry, you feel that way, I am trying to focus on loreful banners and names of the factions, and this is the flag of Reikland in the lore.

Well I use photoshop to edit with and template wise i look in the army books, collector guides etc. for info and then get online picture to cutout or make it from scratch using the tools in photoshp.

Hello there, I love your mod, I have been using it ever since it first came out and I wanted to ask you if you could perhapes help me out a bit? I would like to try and make my own banner mod and wished to ask you if you have any templates that you use or what program do you use to edit your own? :)

Do the names change back once a faction confederates, e.g. Reikland becomes 'The Empire'?

And rename his faction to Von Carstein. i have never understood why he would be schwarzhafen or whatnot its called. He will always be THE von carstein, schwarchafen-whatever is just a temporary resting place. :D

For anyone curious, I changed the Schwartzhafen campaign and battle banner colours back to the Von Carstein red along with the faction name. It's pretty simple to do with PFM if you aren't happy with the green campaign and battle banners.

for some reason every other flag changed just fine, but the flag of the dwarfs didn't change and I have no other mods that do anything with the dwarfs

Schwartzhafen army banners are green during battles. Is this intended?

This works out so well much more lore friendly and actually gives it a total war thme to the game

hope this gets an update soon, this is the best of the name/flag mods by far

I don't like the empire flag change, it's too different in color and opposes the ingame art when doing selections after conquering cities! The rest is a very refreshing welcome.

Hey brother, did you finally updated the remaining banners? i.e bretonnia, etc?

An essential mod, but unfortunately it makes the Greenskin banners too similiar to each other in battle -- it becomes very confusing when fighting another Greenskin faction since all the units have similar banners -- could you make them more distinct?
