I have 9 thrusters pointed at each other with a single "sheet" (3x3 light armor) of armor in between

*sigh* ... It would be nice to subscribe to an SE mod without having to read a disclaimer about how this mod isn't stolen, ripped off or otherwise someone elses work. The whole point of a community is that people contribute and share.

I look forward to trying this out. Thanks for fixing it.

Why is it that one day (just one day!) that I loaded up my game, and the middle thrusters actualy took up only one block, but ever since I loaded up a new world, every thruster has a 2 block hitbox? If this was a mod I forgot to add, nevermind, but if this was just a bug, please update the middle thruster's hitbox

To all the guys who do not read the KSWH forum... There is no need to update any mod with pink textures. The sole root of this issue is due to game looking for textures only in own directory, disregadring the contents of Textures folder in mods. You can solve that issue by yourself, by opening the mod's .sbm file (it's a ZIP-file in fact), and then copying the Textures folder into SE\Content (so the Textures from game will merge into game's local files). This solves all textures issues, however, only to yourself.

I agree with Shroom, those feel unrealistic 'cause they don't have that jetty-turbiney feeling in their looks. When I will get some free time to devote for SE (hopefully the next week), I can get the atmoes and wrench them here and there so they are workable and making everyone using them happy again. But those won't be a mod of my liking.

Personally, I think atmospheric thrusters are in a separate class from ions, and should not work in the same modular way as these ions can. I prefer them to behave more like jet engines, as it's more realistic. Just my 2cents

Attention: as soon as I will get some free time, I will upgrade the mod for new building system. Don't wail on me though, every block will still be accessible from GUI like in good-old times. I will just add blockvariants for single-type thrusters so you can cycle through different platings for each base thruster.

Hey, come on, there is a tonload of them, and several blocks even have an exact clone hanging there for no reason. It will just allow to de-clutter the toolbar for those who prefer the new fancy scrolling.

Since this initially was started as a patch/fix for Warbros' outdated version, I preserved the initial values of power and thrust. They are balanced through use of very expensive thusterlike component, though.

Any chance of getting a less powerful version? 1 MEGA neuton per thruster for a thruster meant to be arrayed and used en mass seems a little high.....

Reworked costs for small ship thrusters. They now use small tubes instead of large, and they shall be a bit more durable. Report if something might be broken.

It is a fully standalone mod, subscribe-and-play.
As for atmo version, it shall not conflict with it, however, I don't guarantee that atmo version is working properly on it's own, because atmo version is old and unmaintained.

It's not quite a "balance mod", it's a "balanced mod". For thruster mod, that means that the thruster build cost is in balance with it's thrust power and energy consumption (original version was too cheap to build compared to default/vanilla thrusters, there were no point to use them instead of Rider's Thrusters). Now, you have a choice — build cheap, but slow vanilla thrusters, or build these fast thrusters, but these cost A LOT of materials, to justify their great power and low energy usage.
