Hello!) I really love your reskin mod for Mousillon. :steamhappy: I like how Musillon's units look in your mod, specifically in the 1st part. In the 2nd part, I didn’t really like that Musillon’s units were mixed. I like how the units look in part 1, keeping the pure Bretonia theme. Please update this mod for part 3

i hope you realize the Red Dukes legendary weapon of lore is Blade of Leaping Gold and his legendary armor is the Armor of Blood.
just a fyi since the Red Duke is my favorite character in the Warhammer universe.

Dihart you can use pack file manager to delete this reskin of him and it will go back to his vanilla skin

@vonvince: if you use the mod version I linked you vonvince then it should work, that is an already stripped down version of the mod. if you use my other variants of the mod then there will be table conflicts but in https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=696617778
there are only unit_variant_colour tables(which don't really matter for you as they determine nothing)

You did try to edit the mod I linked you right? It's called "mousillon vampire reskin" . any other of my mods will not work if you edit them via the same instructions so it's sorta imperitive you use the one I suggested!(either that or as sg-radical says, gotta delete all the references to the new units in the tables if you use my other mods)

@vonVince if you want it to be absolutely certain to work, remove every reference to every unit you dont want reskinned from the mod.

It doesn't seem to be that simple: I did some testing and doing that makes reskinned units that I don't want to use to appear as invisible instead of their regular appearance : /

@Vonvince: while making more basically identical mods would drive me mental(the upkeep of them ) It's a relatively simple process to get what you want I'm happy to say.
This is how you'd do it.

1.
download this mod of mine

2. Get packfile manager(you can find it here)

3. open the mod I linkeds pack file*its in warhammer/data /mousillon something or other.pfm

4. go to variants/variantmesh definitions and delete every 'unit.variantmeshdefinition' you don't want reskinned, leave the rest.
5. SUCCESS!

If you have the time at some point, then could you make an alternative version that comes with only the reskins you made for lords and heroes (and their mounts) - without the rest of the unit reskins.

Thanks! That sure would be easier, but I'm mixing some of your and dryrain's work (and adding some of my own) to make sure that no matter which visual overhaul you use, the new units will fit with them. Besides, the work is already done, now in the gruesome stage of balancing.

Hi creme! Im working on some new units for Mousillon. It would be great to make them visually fit your reskin and all of Mousillon can look coherent. I wont carbon copy everything, but Is it okay if I use some of your variantmeshes? You will be credited of course, and I will add a link to this mod as well.

@creme_de_la_bear Hello! I was wondering if you could do a similar subfaction mod for Kraka Drak Dwarf faction (Norse Dwarfs: I actually made a suggestion about this - on page 34 of comments - to which you replied that it might be possible). I understand that you might be busy with other things, but I'd be great to see a mod like this for Norse Dwarfs : )

@Grandsirpiggy: easy peasy fix, I don't like his green skeles but do use his other stuff which I secretly combine with my own mods. Anyway just delete the appropriate unit in my unit.variants list that affects the regiment of renown
eg to delete my regular sternsmen, delete vmp_sternsmen.variantmeshdefinition , then his ones will show through. in this case you'd have deleted the REGULAR sternsmen, now if you deleted the mous_sternsmen.variantmeshdefinition for example you'd delete my mousillon only ones.

Might be a lot to ask for, but what exactly do I need to delete if I don`t want the new vampire counts RoR reskins? I use another mod that reskins them (Ali-TP`s collection) and I, no offense meant, prefer his changes, but I still want the mousillion changes. I know my way around the PFM, but there are some files that I`m scared of deleting without knowing fully what they are.

@Olgierd: Oh, well a long long time ago I added variants to her which made her look somewhat like a bretonnian damsel. However I had to take it out as clipping issues bothered me. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

I'm really sorry to ask this here, since is not directly related to this mod, but since is a issue with the Red Duke and I suppose the people here likes to play as Mousillon, maybe someone could help me: the Red Duke is not available in campaign after being wounded or replaced. I have him listed as a Lord ready to be deployed, but I actually cannot deploy him.
I don't have the wood elves DLC (so i don't have him unlocked in mp battles), I dont know maybe this create the issue. Again I'm sorry this is off-topic, but I really like playing as Mousillon and this mod, but this issue (again, totally unrelated to this mod) is ruining my experience.

@Nighthawke: Hey Nighthawke, my first mod did just that before I discovered how to make it subfaction only. This one below overwrites all the vampires with the skins. Which sounds to be exactly what you want!

@creme_de_la_bear: The mods still work fine together by themselves, but I've found in a co-op campaign that Lokerian's unlocker causes Chaos to bug out and be given 2x Occupy settlement and 4x Loot and Occupy settlement after winning a siege (0x Sack, 0x Awaken, 0x Raze), which then settles your horde automatically. I would kill someone for a new unlocker right now!

@USMC RABBI: yeah Ive heard about that and it's a darn shame. I haven't tested it currently but I imagine lokerians mods will still work if you tick load outa date mods. As for the future we can only hope that somone picks up his mantle :P

i think till he can fix it, its a all or nothing right now. You can go through and delete the changes made to the ROR units and not have them show up for any vampire factions thats about it.

@RafaL you can use pack file manager and delete all the changes made to the other units and not delete the changes made to heros and lords

Its not possible to make the mod affect only the lords and heroes of the Mousillon, not all the vampires?
