I'm quite happy with the progress we're making, the only two things bumming me out is inability to hire volunteers yet and slow growth on social media, all in due time tho.

Ohh shit dude, I forgot about this. Yeah I took a look at this a year or so ago when you started. I'll join your discord!

I've been developing a sci-fi MMO with my community. It's going fairly well, quite happy with all the progress we're making. Looking to have the next dev build released potentially today. You can learn more about it on https://Shaostoul.com , there's a discord link there as well.

We all love you for your work Shao. Go do you. We'll be here when you come back :)

Hey guys, I'm so sorry to do this to you, but I need to work on my future for concern of not having one if I'm not careful. Please check out the video added to the description discussing me going on hiatus from modding Space Engineers.

I got this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pKxXxY
I have a GTX970 4GB and a 240GB SSD that I'm using from the old system. I was given a 750GB HDD but, the person more or less said "it's making a ton of weird noises, probably dying but, I heard you need storage.", so I'm not really counting that on the hardware list as it may die relatively soon.

Shaostoul: I've always loved the effort you put into your mods. Truly appreciated. So I'll tell ya, I have a spare, second Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce 4 GB VRAM in perfect working order I'd sell for a $100 (plus whatever shipping is) if you end up needing a whole new rig. Offer is really open to anyone interested. I just can't tolerate the 94 degree C heat from running Crossfire R9 290's so it's just been sitting in a static proof bag for a few months. When just using a single card it runs about 78-82 degrees celsius. My mother has a 99% satification rating on Ebay from when she used to sell stuff on there so we could do transaction through Ebay. And that'd put me a $100 closer to an Nvidia 1070.

Per the request of friends within the community, I've created a GoFundMe to raise money for a replacement computer, I can not however post the link directly here on Steam, so if you'd like to check it out, please go to this Keen Software House forum thread by me and use the referring blue link text at the bottom.

Grievous new everyone; my PC experienced a sudden BSOD tonight and in its wake, my HDD is dead and my PC is not booting reliably (mobo issues maybe, it is very old; 2008). This HDD was my storage device that had all of PeterHammerman's, Embershards, other modders/commissions/etc, and my Space Engineers and Fallout 4 mods. This means that I've lost all of the source files for all of the released and WIP content. I'll be seeing if a company thinks it can be recovered this week but, things look grim after all of the testing I was able to do.

This more or less means that all modding is stopped for an indeterminable amount of time presently. Over the coming days/weeks I'll be debating on how I'll proceed. I do love modding, the interaction with all the users, helping others get a handle on modding, and so forth. I'll try to keep you guys updated.

Also, I hope your cousin is recovering and wish you a safe conclusion to your time there as well as the trip home.
Deapri 5 Oct, 2016 @ 11:13pm
No problem Shao, no rush at all, glad to help if I can, the files seem extremely outdated and need a bit of reworking anyway which will take time,
Shaostoul  [author] 5 Oct, 2016 @ 2:36pm
You can look at the files present in the mod. I'm presently still dealing with the highlighted text in the description. I'll be home on the 12th, after that I could provide files.
Deapri 4 Oct, 2016 @ 10:58pm
If you mean the Armaments pack Shao, I can have a look at it and see if I can find the fault... I've been working on a laser rifle for Phoenix and could use a distraction from texturing from scratch.
Shaostoul  [author] 12 Jul, 2016 @ 2:08pm
I can't seem to get them to work. I have all of the files, but I just keep crashing regardless of what I do. It might be something with how old they are but, I'm unsure.

What ever happened to the Hammerman Turrets?
caffiend 16 Jun, 2016 @ 8:47pm
I use the suit lockers pretty extensively in alot of my builds cause I like the way they look. However, the one thing that is missing for them is an additional mirror design that switches the side that the bench is on. It'd make some of my builds alot easier.
Shaostoul  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 7:56pm
I'll look into on my interior corridor pieces on how to make these work properly. It'll take a long while though. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Spyro the Dragon 11 Jun, 2016 @ 7:53pm
I can work without turns, most of my turns for my vents can have walls outside the turns.
Shaostoul  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 6:22pm
Yeah, I was trying to make it work with my other 2 mods that are sorta like em. I can do a single corridor tube, but if there is any turns, it doesn't work. So essentially, only 1 block would work.
Spyro the Dragon 11 Jun, 2016 @ 6:05pm
Damn, welp, time to post a suggestion on the forum
Shaostoul  [author] 11 Jun, 2016 @ 4:55pm
I've tried, the oxygen code doesn't behave properly for stuff designed like the vent shafts. IE it doesn't properly convey oxygen from one room to another.
Spyro the Dragon 11 Jun, 2016 @ 3:38pm
Since you're maintaining it, can you properly pressurize the vents? I want to use them for an underground base, and it'd be sweet to use the vents for air.
