Could you navmesh and Ai node to your maps from opposing force? Also, could you make the doors to open and closing manually, instead of automatically?

I like to play around with Half-Life Resurgence mod a lot on goldsource maps

Trial and error. I decompiled the maps and found out, over years, the best way to do this.

If it's not a bother, what resources did you use to learn how to do this? I want to port the GoldSrc maps into SFM, so, it would be of great help.

Used BSP2MAP and then manually repaired the brushes in hammer.

Here's the FGD.
Add it as a config to the HL2 hammer.
HL2 contains EP1, EP2 and HLS in itself.

How do you import materials from Half Life source? I look on hammer and see only a few that isn't really helpful by default.

You have to decompile the original map, rebuild the geometry, re-align the textures and fix the entities for source.
