This map is great! The scale is trippy, and I keep misjudging how far Zeds are from me, which is the point. :D The only issue I found is that Zeds seem to think they can attack me from below the bridge, instead of pathing up onto it. Not sure if it's the navmesh or the fact that in real-scale, they're only like a meter from the player down there.
Great work regardless. This map is surprisingly intense, and one of the few maps where fighting the Matriarch isn't (as big of) a headache with all the buildings to block her gun.

think Attack On Titan but you and Zeds are as big as the Titans fighting inside some city. The ammo boxes are easy to miss because they're small too, just like the trade pods. Fun map. My only criticism is the crawlers can hide in the water and gnaw at your legs lol

Awesome idea for a map and a lot of fun! I did discover a hole in the map though. If you crounch into the wall in the river you can walk right through it and off the map to your death

Thanks pokerman for the reports and screenshots. I've added a bunch of blocking volumes to buildings that had none. Hopefully those exploit spots, and any unfound ones, are now fixed. If not feel free to let me know!

Ah those cheeky boomstickers! Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll have that fixed soon.

The whole boomstick jumping thing is a proper pain for us mappers, especially since many old maps are not designed with that trick in mind as it wasn't known back then.

I like the map style, but it has a serious flaw : boomstick campers.

Some roof of tall buildings, people can use boomstick to get up there.

And melee zeds can't attack and keep jumping (except husk and siren).

So actually i had 2 Tiny town map files Located one in the "map folder" that was 1.1 and one in the "0" folder that was 1.2 the server still used 1.1 to host for whatever reason but demanded everyone to use 1.2 thats why it mis matched

Actually its not the Workshop i found the issue,...

Before your map was in /KFGame/Cache/706750414/0/map/KF-TinyTown.kfm

Your New version is in /KFGame/Cache/706750414/0/KF-TinyTown.kfm

the Folder Structure changed if you remove the entire folder. and let your server Redownload it. it works did you Upload a different folder / or from a different location ?

I'm sorry this is happening and I hope the Workshop will sort itself out eventually as this is a seriously annoying issue for both players, server admins and map makers.

Hey Evono, thanks for the bug report. I've confirmed the error as well and spent the past 2 hours trying to figure out what the problem is. Sadly, I have discovered that it is a Steam workshop issue. For some reason the workshop does not save the newly uploaded version of the map (I've tried 4 times now), and instead copies an older version from the Workshop cache, which is then downloaded by the servers resulting in version mismatch.

There is a solution, but it is a convoluted one requring some file editing by the person running the server. I tried it out myself and it works, here is a link to the steps needed for the fix: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forum/killing-floor-2/technical-support-ae/dedicated-server-support-ac/117144-server-subscribe-to-steamworkshop/page2

After doing that, start your server and let it load. Then shut it down and start it again. It should now be working properly again. If you check WebAdmin, the correct map version should now be version 1.2a.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Part of the the joy of map making is hearing from other people having fun on your maps :)

I wish I could add tiny citizens running around the streets in panic, being stepped on by players and zeds! Alas that's a bit out of my league :cgrazz:

On another note, I have a daylight version of the map to be released soon along with some minor tweaks and fixes to the current one. Stay tuned.

Tiny Town version 1.1 is now live


Changelog:

- Replaced missing trees that were removed from the official game resources with the SWAT update.
- Fixed an exploit spot that allowed players to crawl onto the roof of the barn building (thanks Coco)
- Added more world clutter (trashbins, junk, papers, etc.) around the map
- Fixed a few gaps in the geometry here and there

And thanks a ton for the bug feedback, I'll have a look at the barn and get that fixed as that's obviously not intended.

I'm also going to fix the missing trees that have vanished with the SWAT update since Tripwire removed some foliage meshes from the game's resource packages. Expect an updated version soon.

The map is just amazing and awesome. However there is a thing I want to point out. On the map there is a Barn that you can sit on and not get attacked by Scrakes [Not sure if it is for all enemies, but that just makes it a bti cheap strat against gaints]

Otherwise 11/10. Me and my friend had a blast when playing it
