for single player its an awsome mod. thing is i cant place dino gates. like regular rafts

can you add a invisible collision sphere that only checks for other rafts like minimum 5x5 foundations big. Rafts really need this to limit the raft meshing, would love this! Have some people who really want to raft pvp but the meshing situation is bringing them down. Would even pay for a custom mod like that.

@Togwerk trying putting this into your game user settings ini file. Put it at end of SERVER SETTINGS section. It SHOULD make it so can build with out needing foundations. As for going more.. I cant for life of me find the setting. But I know is one in that file or need add a line. I forget though offhand.

Im using S+ raft and its ceilings and atm im at 9 outward.

You will likely need to change
PerPlatformMaxStructuresMultiplier=1
to some thing higher to be able to build more things on raft. I find 200 too limiting for me myself lol

As a test for what im using i put 15 ceilings down and it was letting me do more.
I dont have this mod so cant test this one sorry.

Can't build beyond limit of regular raft.

I can't build any wider than on a default raft.

I can open campfires with the this mod.

Anyone else notice walking is Janky as F!@# now or is it just me? Almost looks like my character is having a hard time walking around, like its lagging but its not.

it appears you can only build out so far on this raft. I wasn't able to complete a ship build using this mod. It took me a half an hour of glitching out the game to get some ceiling placements down.

Somehow, you've created a raft that controls better then the vanilla raft.

is there a way to apply this to a raft I already have because I wanted to extend my base but dont want to completely rebuild it

How do you extend the raft out to be very big? I've expanded it as far as I can with using the thatch ceiling and then foundation below tactic, but it won't let me expand any further, saying it needs foundation support to place the ceiling?

Hm... using the thatch-ceiling-method let me build a raft of 5x5. But if I want to build further, the thatch ceilings are red and ark tells me that they need a foundation (wich i can not build witchout the thatch ceilings)...

What would happen if i uninstalled the mod and loaded my world? would the raft simply disappear or turn into a normal raft?

You know what no raft (as far as I've seen) has that is reaslitic and usefull? strafe movement. I'd just like to be able to straffe, 1/4 speed seems realistic and fine. OR the hability to rotate, turn without moving forward or backwards

Don't know if this conflicts with the structures plus mod or what but building on this thing is a nightmare... Everything is glitching up and down horribly unless you're stacking foundations so you don't make any mistakes! I hope WC takes a break after Genesis to actually finish the game.

Love that using vanilla things does allow me to really extend my raft. I am however having a huge problem. The views are not working at all. I scroll back and my feet stay firmly planted on the deck. I get zero elevation. So when I start adding anything/levels to my raft I will not be able to see a thing. Vanilla rafts work fine.

Ragna is correct. However, once you build your extended raft base to the size you want, you can replace all non-S+ foundations with S+ foundations.

I'd like to make people aware that the extension of the raft doesn't work if you use S+ Foundations or Ceilings, they need to be regular!

Does this mod still work? I can't seem to extend the raft beyond vanilla. Neither with S+ nor with vanilla foundations. And yes, I am building in deep water. Everything else works (additional HP, zoom, reverse).

The Vanilla parts are the standart Parts that come with the basegame
