Try using "LightmappedGeneric" instead of "VertexLitGeneric" for any decals that have glitchy lighting issues (i.e. plaster). That should fix the issue.

sheet panels don't show metal impact, just standard black decals, any way to fix it ?.

yeah, its really possible, it can be implemented by modifying the game engine or through coding from stratch

yeah, through coding it from stratch, source engine probably has a potential to do that.

hi, is it possible to create decals for bullet exiting holes ? they are not even rendered at all ingame.

bugs somewhat happened because insurgency's source engine is basically updated version of l4d2 source engine.

Plaster decals often turn black at certain viewing angles, which is a bit distracting. Otherwise it looks good!
