This mod still works, you just need to turn it off, research everything (instantly with other mods if need be), and then turn it back on. A few buildings will still cost regular amount

Despite that this mod does work for the most part for its general purpose, do not that you will not be able to research anything requiring the Research Bench Level 1.

Yeah. Sawing that this mod wasn't updated in ages. Walls and gates with this mod do not work.

I downloaded this yesterday, I'm living in a watch tower at a waystation doing research and with this mod turned on for some reason the watch tower doesn't have any power but everywhere else does.

Hey, I just wanted to say this mod is great! But it needs a few alterations. There is a vanilla bug that makes the game look for "Research Bench I", which is the "Small Research Bench". Its name must be reverted for certain research items to work. Furthermore "Research Bench II" and up need iron bars to be constructed.

Can't build research bench 2. It's not listed in the research catagory or in build mode. Just the small research bench.

you know you can enter editor mode by pressing Shift+F12 right?

The stuff about things not appearing as built, either try "Cntrl Shift f11". If that doesn't work then just reload the game entirely. (Keep in mind, try reloading AFTER you've built everything that you needed/wanted, unless you want to reload multiple times) This should also fix people/animals walking through your walls and gate. Hope this helped :p

This might also be a game issue, not this mod's issue.
After update 0.93.6 building system is buggy af. Even if you manage to build a research bench, you can't use it.

You do need. But with 30 materials you can build 30 buildings then.
And materials are easy to mine when you have a mine and a processor.
And it will solve a bug.(at least with my mod i have not experienced it)

This might be because of amount of recources you need to build a thing.
If it is a 0 you build it instantly, if it is a 1 you build it, but very fast(i made my mod doing this a while ago) and everything worked.

Hey man, mine just stopped working for some reason, every time I build something now, it's instant (wasn't before) which causes the research panel to think the thing being built wasn't built. Basically the mod somehow just started making me spawn everything instead of build it with no cost. For some reason all of the things I build now, the research won't see them as built.

To use the research benches for now atleast, quicksave and quickload right after, then the benches will register as built.
