currently the axes are not respecting my ini edits in regards to damage...but cleave for example is responding to radius changes? ninjato and other blades are indeed responding just not this one.

I had to unsubscribe, unfortunately. I was hoping to make these weapons purely cosmetic, like all my other mods. I was unable to find the ini file in Linux. Found the default ini file, weapon not listed. Seemed I looked both everywhere and a lifetime. This being said, I really appreciate this mod, and the work and time put into it. Thank you.

@Miguelmonte2005 are you using it in LW2? Last I knew LW had issues where AoE attacks show incorrrect hit values on targets

just made a test run, 12 tries, missed every single one of the hits. 100% axe slash failures, different targets, different saves... i'm at a loss... anyone else has this?

i miss every one of my 71% axe slash attacks with my scorpion mod class... every single one... any thoughts? anyone with a similar experience, always missing axe attacks?

I would recommend a slight damage increase to make these compare to the standard weapons because right now the tier 2 and 3 items just aren't doing enough damage compared to the basic weapons.

Hello. If someone is using this mod with LW 2 and has the Cosmetic Variants enabled (like me in my next campaign when I'm finally going to take the LW 2 plunge) could the damage values for the axes be tweaked to reflect the recent changes in, I think, 1.3? Thanks!

Recently I have been thinking about messing around with the development tools that this game has and I came up with an idea: What if I made a class mod designed around using axes and another around using the swords from your katana pack? Just wondering.

Great mod, have enjoyed using this. Best example of a clutch moment... Advent Radio tower, Reinforcements drop back at the start of the level, no ones in range, sniper is flanked and alone. Sniper's picked off one of the Advent troops on overwatch, the other two enemy Advent troops are huddled around the same full cover object. My soldier with the Icarus suit jumps back to the tile behind the two enemy troops flanking their position, and with one mighty axe swing chops both them and the full cover destroying it! The surviving Advent trooper, now cover-less, dies to a sniper bullet to the cranium with 100% to hit. Thanks big fecking cover-destroying axe... :D

Just want to say that this mod, spec ops pack, and the katana reloaded mod crashes the game after the tutorial mission.

@Stallion♞: It doesn't. The game just shows it like that 'cuz it's kinda limited in what it can show...it's either show that or not show that. Either way it only applies to the corresponding weapon.

Hello there is a little bug with the lightning slash ability and long war perk pack. After i use lightning slash, i can not use the normal slash anymore only fleche.

I don't mean to spoil the fun but it seems that the battleaxe's ability to destroy cover should be commensurate with the energy axes: teir 2 and above, just for the sake of physical plausibility. Doing this may also better balance the battleaxe teirs as well. This is just my opinion and something to consider; it could even be a configurable option. Thanks!

@spotter I have a lot of mods installed but didn't try editing any weapons. Anyway, what you suggested works but the problem keeps occurring. A workaround is to change the movement penalty to -1 if you want to keep using the axe or 0 if you don't. I also have the aim bonus, but that doesn't seem to get calculated according to perfect info. Anyway, a bit fiddly but easy enough to fix.

@Eagle: well, if you want a blunt weapon there's already a mod for, look for the Batmod. It's actually quite hilariously satisfying to beat a sectoid's skull in with a wooden bat.

+DarkPDA +Decado and all. I've seen this -2 Mobility and 2 damage only issue, only come up when I tried modding the DLC weapons.
Try uninstall/unsub, and reinstall/resub to get things working again.

i seem to be ecperiencing a glitch where anyone whom had a axe from this mod is stuck with a -2 penalty to mobility (from the base level axes) even when they are un-equiped. resulting in a -4 mobility if the axe is then equiped again
