Updated page to point to CSL Music Mod - Reupload, since the original CSL Music Mod was delisted. This version still works and is compatible with Airports DLC!

@Bastard from the Skies

Actually i noticed the problem was i didn't activate it in the game's mods menu. It worked nicely after that.
Thanks for the reply though!

@Brunno

Don't rename the folder itself. Edit the SC2KStation.json with notepad or something and change the name of the music folder referenced in there from SC2K_Music to SC2K_PS_Music so it matches the folder name.

That's all I did to get it working.

I tried renaming the folder containing the music files (SC2K_PS_Music) to SC2K_Music, but still it doesn't show up on the game's menu. Any idea on what's wrong? I love so much SC2000 PS version songs, thanks for taking the time to make this mod, though.

I fixed the problem.

mmotsoevil 's solution below resolved the issue.

In the mod's SC2KStation.json file you have the collections value set to " SC2K_Music " whereas the folder containing the music files is actually named " SC2K_PS_Music ", so the files aren't being found.

Yeah this is so strange.

I completely removed all mods, uninstalled the game and wiped all remaining files and AppData storage so I had a fresh install.

I installed only CSL Music Mod and this PSX SimCity 2000 music mod and it still doesn't show up in game. This seems to be the only station that doesn't work for me, which is annoying as it's the one I want most, haha!

All you other stations show up fine though.

I might try making this myself, see if I can spot the problem.

Hmm.

I'll try removing all CSL stuff completely and reinstalling.

Might have something to do with me having the MIDI SimCity 2000 PC mod installed first.

Do they still not work together?
goldfishgamer  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 6:30am
It's not dead, and it works for me...
Bastard from the Skies 24 May, 2018 @ 2:38am
Is this mod dead now? It doesn't show up as a station in CSL menu in game, but other stations will.

I figured it was a conflict with the other SimCity2000 Music Mod (the MIDI one) but even after disabling that this mod doesn't work.

Just wondering if I should try making my own.

Are you makeing of MS-Dos edition?
Royal Raven 29 May, 2017 @ 6:02pm
Did you ever get this sorted out and fixed?
Royal Raven 24 May, 2017 @ 6:18am
Thanks!
goldfishgamer  [author] 24 May, 2017 @ 3:54am
Oh, I see. Yeah, that makes sense, for this pack I just copied and pasted the original SimCity 2000 pack and replaced the sound, and I didn't remember that that would cause a conflit if I tried using both at once (which I somehow never did).
I'll get it fixed tomorrow, thx for the heads up ^^

There is something wrong with how you defined the station.
You have an unique collection name (which is good), but your channel is called "SimCity 2000".
The other mod is also called "SimCity 2000". One of them will win and overwrite the other one.

Also you you have "collections" : [ "SC2K_Music" ]. This should be "collections" : [ "SC2K_PS_Music" ].
Royal Raven 23 May, 2017 @ 5:27pm
Maybe it's because both have the same tracks name and CSL doesnt like it, maybe giving these ones a unique name. I know I can sub to one or ther other, but I want to sample both in game.

Anyways thanks for the lovely soundtrack mods.
Royal Raven 23 May, 2017 @ 5:20pm
I upsubbed and resubbed to this one, I deleted the CSLMusicMod.json and the Addon folder in Appdata, to have clean start. This sound pack shows up and now the other Simcity 2000 doesn't. The only other mod I can think that might be a issue with this is, Ambient Sound Tuner 2.0 causing issues, since it isn't updated yet.
Royal Raven 23 May, 2017 @ 11:30am
I have a problem with this one, its not coming up in the list in game. I have it enabled and I am using CSL. I subbed to the whole collection, all 6, went in game to try them all and only 5 show up, but this one doesn't show up.

@DjBasA The difference is like night and day. The PC version is simple MIDI, while the Playstation has actual audio files. Has such, it has much more detail, and is much higher quality. But I posted both because, at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference.
DjBasA 3 Dec, 2016 @ 3:11am
whats different about the pc music and playstation music?
Jando 6 Sep, 2016 @ 5:53am
Great!
