Thanks to the original authors for creating this mod, if they would like to include the fixed version in the original mod I would have no problem sending it to them.
11k subs cant be wrong.
I wanted to ask if you can do something about the LCDs, which are hardly readable with scripts, I assume it is due to the emissivity bloom, you can fix the problem with a mod or even implant it in your skybox
I kinda quit SE due to some community members/modders I thought were friends turning out to be pretty awful and some other reasons.
i have some errors coming from PlanetGeneratorDefinitions_Splendid.sbc like :
MOD_ERROR: Deep Space 4K - Clean Post-Processing | 1.190+, in file: D:\Jeux\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\720549240\Data\PlanetGeneratorDefinitions_Splendid.sbc
Resource not found, setting to null. Resource path: D:\Jeux\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\720549240\Textures/Models/Environment/Sky/EarthFarClouds.dds
This concerns all XML reference with path : ...\Textures/Models
And, after verification in the dir mod, there isn't no subdirectory called "models" in ...\244850\720549240\Textures. There is just 2 subdirectories : BackgroundCube and SunGlare.
It seems your mod is awesome so can you help me to resolve this problem ? Error from steam download or missing directory ?
Thx.
Seems to be working just fine, don't see any definition changes from the update. It's the same as pre-Anniversary...and I'm not sure what's going on in your example. Are you sure there are no other mods changing the environment that might be throwing you off?
Planet generation definitions are updated for 1.190
Any skybox that similarly modifies all the vanilla planet atmospheres to look correct in their environment are gonna need to update.
Beside that, your mod is still awesome! Please fix it :)
@Franky500 thanks for your work on a workaround! ;)
Hope wind will be fixed :)
Since recent update with the release, now looks lleyow instead cold. Also seems like there is a problem with the turbines, doesnt work on planets with atmosphere.
1. Delete ShaderCache and ShaderCache2 folders in %appdata% space engineers
2. verify game files
3. Run a clean new map with only 4 k Deep space
4. Enjoy the glory of this skybox...
5. now try running it in save u want and see if its the same.
6. if not your save is screwed. (there is a fix but its complicated.)
Was kinda unexpected, but I guess this new update was a good excuse to get back around to it.
You may wish to take a look over your Environment.sbc. I think that it has become out of date for the newer versions.
I noticed a previous comment had issues regarding reflections in windows. I was having this as well, where the skybox just was not mapping right.
After playing around, I was able to confirm that there is something in your .sbc across both versions of Deep Space.
I was able to modify it, although without your lighting tweaks, and got it working again on my end with no odd reflections.
Feel free to reach out if you feel the need.
