For anyone wanting to use this with 1.5 without the error (although the error can be just ignored without consequence to the mod functionality), make a local copy of the mod, then copy the 1.4 directory and name it 1.5, add 1.5 to the "supportedVersions" list in About.xml, and finally, edit the file 1.5\Defs\ThingDefs\Buildings_Embrasure.xml where you add "<disableImpassableShotOverConfigError>true</disableImpassableShotOverConfigError>" (without quotes) in a new line after "</graphicData>." If that doesn't work for you, slow down and read my instructions more carefully.

When you try to copy the embrasure instead of coping embrasure you copy a wall. It's a problem.

I don't recommend using this mod in multiplayer cuz it causes a desync every single time the Server saves (already forgot if it causes desyncs in between), in which case I'd just switch over to "ReinforcedStructures" {LINK REMOVED}(https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2565899200) altogether.

Mod still works, it has never been broken in years

Working for me my paws are still using embrasure wall without any crash or errors but as D3ATHCOM pointed there is nothing written in mod option.

It would appear that the mod options menu is broken,
Idk if it's my mod list, but I've got work soon so I'll try later

FINALLY I've been looking for this for over a year now. I could never find anyone saying what it was called.

This mod works fine in 1.3 with both DLC. "Reinforced Walls" has an updated embrasure if you want an "updated" mod but there is not a single setting for them in that mod, whereas this one the embrasures are fully customizable.

The "Reinforced Walls" mod has a version that's updated. Reinforced Embrasures can be built

So, two rooms separated by an embrasure is considered one room. It's the same as having one room with a line of sandbags running down the middle. It was like this before 1.3 and as Neronix17 explained, It is not a fixable bug.
As for which mod to use, this mod does seem to work. However, I personally would use the Seamless Embrasures mod since it's updated for 1.3 (no compatibility warning) and it is still actively developed.

Embrasures actually merge rooms together since the game update. Click the bar-graph icon in the bottom right and hover over a room that's bordering another (with an embrasure between them), you'll see that they're now considered the same room. I hope this mod gets updated, as this is one of the mods I consider to be basically required for play.

Alas, the best embrasure mod for rimworld is dead. If anyone can make a new mod where they can support it actively, surely they shall be worshiped as a king!

It appears to work fine with 1.3. The only Issue I see is that the default image on the build menu shows a regular wood/stone wall instead of the one with holes. The built version does show holes just fine.

I suspect Jaxxa won't be updating this. Going through to their github there's been no commits since Sep 2020 to any of their repos, and there are changes to improve 1.2 compatibility that haven't been released in almost a year. Maybe there will be a forked version that gets maintained, but I think this one's been abandoned.
