It would help as a "remote mining base" that's attacked early on by an Andari "raiding scout".

The monolith is actually vanilla. it's just an easter egg, that can be found in the crater of mars' volcano in the easy start earth map. it sometimes appears, and sometimes disappears

You could restart steam, but this 'mod' , as you call it, will pop up in the workshop section in the main menu

I have a question concerning downloading the mod. I have subscribed but The Collection did not load. I know Steam says to "relaunch my game", and that it will work. Does that mean restarting Steam? Or maybe running the game and then exiting? Help would be greatly appreciated, and this looks like a cool mod!

Don't mind him Bruce. This isn't even a "mod" it's a "world". It's nothing more than an interactive display of someone's in game work.

There ARE mods for games ( like trains that replace dragons ) that are dumb mods for dumb people. It's the "gary's mod" group of people if you will that he's targeting. That said, I don't care what kind of mods people make. If someone buys a game for no other reason than to install a stupid mod becuase he's stupid... fine, so be it! Let that guy do what he wants, because he STILL paid money for the game and that money is going to further develop the game and games from the company they purchased from.

Sorry for the rant, but if he's going to spam some stupid copy/past and think he can take up more room, he's got another thing coming.

I may be a vanilla builder, but everyone is free to build however he/she wants, with mods or without, it's part of how the game works.

thumb is the picture, which will be used as the little picture in the steam workshop. for worlds it is in .jpg for blueprints it is in .png

you build the world, and finish it up (preferrably with a nice view for the thumb)

you press windows +R , then type in %appdata%>SpaceEngineers>Saves>*numbers*> Original name of the save (search for creation date), and then modify the picture called thumb. DON'T VISIT YOUR WORLD AGAIN OR THE PIC WILL RESET.

just find the world in the load game list, and click the *publish* button. it should be the lowest in the row of load game or edit settings.

btw your mountain base is epic, I've always wanted to create something nice and atmospheric on the mountain peak, but you have made it first xD gratz, dude, your stuff is truly awesome

use a small hydrogen thruster and damage it, until it starts burning (use a gun, or missiles. Tools will deconstruct the thruster)

Also, how do you save your creations like 'world'? Not like blueprint?
