My other decorative item wish is for shade tents or porticos. I like to build outdoor recreaction and dining spaces.
Is that not working?
To be honest I'm not sure, I suggest you try it out.
I think it would end up being counter-productive though, with the mechanics of banished, you would need to supply more nearby markets/extra vendors etc to stop the people walking too far for food/tools/clothes etc. :)
new update is up - version 1.11
adds extra content and bug fixes. (see Change Log in Discussions tab)
A future release will see some of the fence variations with a 'ghost' decorative alternative, these fences though will not impede citizens travel, and will be purely decorative.
