I have the same empirekingdom I know its this mod as I've tested it. As soon as I even "disband" either of your monk units (this one and your mounted version) the game runs fine? I think it is a great mod by the pictures but if it isn't compatiable with any other mod that doesn't make any sense?

Game crash when I try to fight a real-time battle with my wood elves against Bretonnia. Bretonnia has 3 monk units in his army. The game crashes on battle loading screen. No problems with fights against Bretonnia when it has only Vanilla troops in its army.

So please update. Thanks.

I'm super swamped for time right now in real life. As soon as I have a week to sit down and catch my breath I will rebuild this unit and the Templar Knights too !! :)

I'm actually going to Creative Assembly for the Mod awards !!! I've been invited to attend the 2016 Mod awards AT the CA headquarters... so I'll be leaving for that this coming weekend :)

@Everyone... So does anyone have a backed up copy of this mod? I just accidentally updated a testing version of this mod... and then JUST after I noticed... I went to fix it, and suffered a massive crash, losing ALL of my mod files :(

So anyone have this backed up somewhere that they could repost? If not... this mod is lost :(

@kelstr yes, I know the workshop is chocked full of God units, and these fit the lore nicely.
I wonder whether now the Lore of Beasts and the Amber Wizard is out what new toys for Taalites you might get to play with :)

@Drion - I just taught my self over some 3am late nights for a week and a half.

You need pack file manager, adobe photoshop (that's what I use) gotta get use to those programs first, before you can do anything !!!

@alexandros thanks for the suggestion man !! I just didn't want to make these guy's too OP ya know? otherwise I get flamed by people haha I just wanted some sort of inf that will "hold the line" as you said... I felt Brt units crumbled way too fast.

I've been trying them in a Brettonia playthrough and they are decent. I recruited them as part of my push to eradicate Mousillon and later Sylvania. They hold a line well thanks to Immune to psych and as monks you might not expect them to be heavy hitters, but I still feel like the need something else to give them a kick against undead (or someone). Dodgy Scotsman made a mod request for me called Gazulite War Clerics, and gave them Magic and Flaming attacks (they are still online through another author) this makes them tear through etherial units. I don't think these guys should be as heavy as those but something to give them a kick.

how do you make the textures and set the stats and all the rest?

@mdutton93 - thanks for letting me know of some sort of conflict. I'm very interested to know what you come up with. I programmed this mod uniquely... with unique values and names; so there would be NO conflicts... so please let me know what you come up with. There's always the remote chance myself and another modder used the same "random" values by fluke. But that chance is small.

@Larethian - you're welcome bud... I really like these guys a lot too !!!

@kelstr might be another mod that is causing the conflict then, thought i had rounded it down to that one but might be another haha. Cheers for the help anyway, will check the integrity of my game files see if somethings gone wrong there and investigate my mods list a bit more :)

@mdutton93 - I just loaded up Zaskar's mod and I have no conflict whatsoever. So this mod is 100% compatible with Bretonnia Royal Guard Mod. Not sure what's happening on your end.

@kelstr this is a good mod, i like the new units a lot. i tried using this with the bretonnian royal guard mod by Zaskar70 and its causing some compatiabilty issues, might just be on my end though but thought i should mention it :)

Good, phew, I am a bit fearful of overstepping the mark and recommending things to modders incase I sound like I'm sounding a know it all, especially because I don't know how to do it.
The WFRP books are a goldmine of ideas, especially the tome of Salvation, might provide some ideas for your crusder themed Brets :)

@alexandros !! thanks for that link man, I will definitley look at expanding the Cult of Taal !! Actually great idea about making them only recruitable in Bastonne !!! Love it !! I like the Longshanks too :) I'm working on a few mods but I'll definitely take some of your advice and try to encorporate. I like the High Priests too !!

They are from Warhammer RP so maybe some would say not cannon but I would argue they are part of the wider universe. Page 204-205

Hello would the monks be more lore friendly using cudgels or maces monks with swords dont sit right somehow. most games forbid monastic troops from using edged weapons just a thought my friend its your mod and it does look very good. Master Wu helping you
