hello, as of update 15 the road sensors get a script error when loading the game. uninstalling the road sensor and installing them again fixes it. can you fix this?

Broken, with the compact edition, vehicles wont go through, without it. Staff cant go through

This mod has been tuned to work with RoadWorks mod. This means that the Prisoner Bus will only stop in front of a Small RoadGate, which is for 1 lane traffic. It doesn't know what the original gate is, nor other types of gates. This is because the bus from that mod is scripted and doesn't know any better.

The halfroad sensors MUST be placed on the tiles shown in the screenshot, because that is the only way how they will let staff through: the one above the gate checks the space between the gate and the bottom sensor for staff walking north.

The sensors hold buttons to tweak the timers when they let things pass.

And as soon as I sent that message, people activating the sensors is now intermittent and is down to timing on when they cross the sensor. Even if I put the sensor right up against the gate and door next to it, a waiting workman will not activate it unless they pass on it at the right moment. Damn it xD

Aha! Thank you, excellent. I love how you kept both, as I can use the 2-piece one either side of the road one to open gates for pedestrians that walk on the pathway.

Only thing is it appears the prisoner bus isn't an "authorised vehicle". From from first block from the gate, up to the 5th, I placed sensors in each, all linked it, and it triggered none of them, so I can only assume it wasn't added as an authorised vehicle?

They are in the utilities menu, not the objects menu so you won't find them there.

I can see the perimeter statuslights, but no sensor under "half-road", "sensor", "road"... nothing.

I've updated the mod and added perimeter statuslights as well.
For perimeter door servo's go here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=551856005

How did you get the servo & status light to be place on top of perimeter wall?

Thanks for the quick update!
murgh  [author] 9 Sep, 2016 @ 2:18am
For now I've fixed it quickly with another solution: killed the damn sounds of the servo :steamhappy:
murgh  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 3:02am
You know what, perhaps I should try to change the mod so those servos are not needed any more. I think the road sensor could just as well set a gate to locked open or closed without those noise makers.
murgh  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 2:18am
The same things occurs when putting two servos on a large jaildoor and controlling them via pressure pads. So it can be reproduced in a similar way without the mod. I've filed this as a bug a while ago, but it's not resolved yet. No idea if the devs will assign the bug ( http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=11165 ) since putting two servos on one door is probably not intended. But still, it's handy to have them that way:steamhappy:

So for now we have to live with that horrible noise. I'd rather avoid zooming in on the road as much as possible where I have many of them - it's like a gazillion bugs in the jungle making noise all at once at night :steamfacepalm:

Can you check the mod I think it's broken or something, there is a lot of bugging noise near the servo
murgh  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 2:15pm
Sounds like you forgot to wire the road sensor to a statuslight and then to the doorservo on the gate. See screenshot above :)
Ste Jams 30 Aug, 2016 @ 1:51pm
I'm pretty sure I'm just being stupid, but I cannot get this mod to work. I place the sensor 2 squares above the road gate and it does nothing? A guard still has to walk over and open the gate manually.

very useful, thx
