Even with having a reset button and the upgrades being free I never felt much of a need to change my radius after setting it initially. I "included" the reset button because I thought it was neat and wondered why it was unavailable normally.
This mod allowed me to fix that mistake by reverting my manipulator back to base model and re-upgrading just to the right amount. It was a real lifesaver, thank you very much for bringing it to us :)
it's june. stop with ugandan knuckles
you fool
At the very least for a short while the default mm can be a bit better. (I hate the non-upgraded mm :/ it just sucks too much imho, a few upgrades later and it feels usuable xD.)
The main thing to remember though is this mod changes the base matter manip. not any special items that get added by mods.
You sometimes have to relaunch the game a few times for the mod to actually be downloaded. I'm not aware of any conflicts with other mods (or know any that really overhaul the file I changed).
The mod is "up to date" / compatible with 1.3
And again as a side note:
I vaguely remember that playing starbound not-through-steam causes steam workshop mods to not be 'applied' when it runs... (Not sure how this is now, I play through steam 90% of the time and have all my mods downloaded to my mods folder too.)

You could even give this a shot to learn how to make a mod yourself :D! The files you would want to ' .patch ' would be fakelicense1.item to fakelicense5.item and changing their 'price' amount.
search pixel is boring TnT

It is a manipulatormodule (there is no 'S' at the end) if you were going off the post below.
If you google search 'starbound [item name]' you can usually find the wiki page for the item and that will show the 'itemname' for spawning it in.
