they must have pulled some big bucks for licences with those songs too ^^. But someone told me they chickend out on Polnareff on a video game adaptation and called him something silly like Eifel or baguette, xD

Also, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure has a lot of Rock references, that is why I love the show, and i like this song a lot too.

JoJo's Bizarre adventures author was a big fan of the band and of action shows of the 80s, that's why though cliche and apearing to be parody, the animated show actually isn't ^^. It's deliberatly cliche. Until you get to the third Joestar family generation that is. By then it's just crazy bananas funny.

First time I heard about this band was because of Homeworld and band dates....waaaaaay back. When I first heard about it my friend was playing homeworld, it was something like this:

friend: "Hey you know what the band that made the soundtrack of this is called?"
me: "An actual band made the soundtrack? Not just 1 person as usual?"
friend: "No, a band, and it's yes"
me: (even though not our native language, the 'yes was still confusing me') "Yes what?"
friend: "Yes the band"
me: "Yes, what is the band called?"
friend "YES!"
me: "WHAT!?
etc... xD
