Kolljak 12 Jul, 2019 @ 10:51am
mod appears to not work after last update. it shows the icons for the correct outfits but when put on shows old protectorate gear.

Little Kitty, i don't know about you, but i think the very simple nature of these cosmetics looks good.
Lukeybug 11 Apr, 2019 @ 10:34am

Sir David 7 Mar, 2019 @ 12:58pm

@Sir David
"There are already some Trek mods out there, and theres even a TOS uniform in the game as a vanity item."
Meme Lord Stranger 6 Mar, 2019 @ 12:59am
Thank you very much!
Scoog  [author] 6 Mar, 2019 @ 12:57am
Yeah man go for it. I don't really play starbound anymore
Meme Lord Stranger 6 Mar, 2019 @ 12:56am
I did it... After literally a fucking whole year I finally had the motivation to learn and try to make this mod compatible with Cutebound. I did it and it worked. After downloading multiple mods and relaunching the game multiple times the uniform is no longer reverted back to vanilla/cutebound. Problem is that after I did... I am now thinking if I should upload it to the workshop? I am asking for your permission Scoog (If you are not dead). Obviously all credits will go to you (and LeviThePants for providing the small code below). If you do not answer... I will upload it but you are free to ask to take it down if you want (and are, again, not dead)
Sir David 9 Nov, 2018 @ 2:23pm
The uniforms are good, but i want them as seperate outfits.
It would be awesome !
LeviThePants 27 Jan, 2018 @ 9:14pm
Since the author doesn't seem to want to do it himself,
Unpack the mod into somwhere you can work with it. Open the .metadata and replace it all with:
{
"priority" : 9949
}
Pack it and put it in your mods folder. That will overwrite make the universe a cuter place.
kallisto 17 Jan, 2018 @ 4:32am
how do i edit the metadata file of this mod so it overrides the uniform of "Make the universe a cuter place"?
Lv 3 Giant Rat 15 Jan, 2018 @ 12:24pm
This is simply the greatest mod ever made. I have yet to see a mod for any game that increases the gameplay formula to unleash its maximum potential. Utterly beautiful.
LeviThePants 13 Dec, 2017 @ 6:49pm
I was gonna ask about make the universe a cuter place but I see Meme Lord Stranger already did. Perhaps consider putting ""priority" : 1000," near the start of the .metadata file. That would cause it to overwrite the other uniform when both mods are in together.
Thanks for this mod, it's one of my absolute favorites. :3
Ninjack_Aus 8 Dec, 2017 @ 10:43pm
Is it clientside?
ldiotPhD 8 Dec, 2017 @ 9:48pm
this is perfect with the star trek teleportation mod
Dragon 6 Dec, 2017 @ 1:45pm
WOO! STAR TREK! :D
Ori 1 Dec, 2017 @ 8:08pm
i love this episode of star trek.
Meme Lord Stranger 24 Oct, 2017 @ 11:54am
Sorry that I am bothering you a lot, but I found my problem.

Turns out, the mod "Make the universe a cuter place" also replaces the vanilla uniform, causing the two to usually conflict and switch sides to favor this or the other.

There are two ways to fix this. Either make this into a .patch (Though, the author of the other mod needs to do this too) or make a compatible version for that mod

If you can't really do much here, then I will try to take matters into my own hands and make a compatible version myself, if I ever manage to learn modding for this game. I am not sure if I will upload the compatible version or not.
Meme Lord Stranger 22 Oct, 2017 @ 1:19am
For some reason, the mod will sometimes work and sometime not. It usually reverts the uniform back to the godawful vanilla when I install another mod and then I have to reinstall this.

But this time, it won't change at all even when I reinstall this. What the hell is this incompatible with and why does it happen?

"It's amazing how something so little can have so much of an impact. Another way of saying that I like this mod." - [EH] Talon

I couldn't have said it better.

This is a darn fine mod.
Talon 23 Aug, 2017 @ 7:47pm
It's amazing how something so little can have so much of an impact. Another way of saying that I like this mod.
Depraved Arachnophile 23 Aug, 2017 @ 5:06pm
Nevermind it works all of the sudden.
Depraved Arachnophile 21 Aug, 2017 @ 4:22pm
Dosent seem to actually change anything at all.
Loial-the-Ogier 11 Aug, 2017 @ 3:31pm
This is one of my favorite Starbound mods!!! I hated the old Protectorate uniforms. I ironically kept thinking, "I wish they would have given the crew cooler uniforms. If they have to be color coded based on jobs then they should at least look cool like the retro Star Trek uniforms from the '60s!" ...and then I cam across your mod. Very cool!! No more cheesy looking crew uniform.

Thanks Scooger!!
Kesvalk 14 May, 2017 @ 4:59pm
if you have the time. Just don't force yourself, you already made a lot with this mod.
Scoog  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 4:51pm
Oh, yeah, sorry. I haven't had time to play starbound in for a while. I'll see about updating this sometime soon. Making a stand-alone version wouldn't be too hard.
Kesvalk 22 Apr, 2017 @ 2:07am
A version that don't replace other piece of armor, and is it's own thing.
You call it a stand alone version in the description of the mod actually.
Scoog  [author] 21 Apr, 2017 @ 6:59pm
What do you mean by stand alone?
Kesvalk 21 Apr, 2017 @ 12:30am
i would really like a stand alone version, as the "make starbound cuter" mod also adds their own version of the uniform, that override this one.

Mr.Guy 14 Oct, 2016 @ 9:43pm
Awesome!
Scoog  [author] 14 Oct, 2016 @ 8:35pm
Yeah, I'll try and reduce it to .01 kb asap so older machines can handle it
Mr.Guy 13 Oct, 2016 @ 5:16pm
Would it be possible to reduce the file size for the mod?
Chili 2 Oct, 2016 @ 11:46am
looks like star trek nao.
Rowan Skye 24 Sep, 2016 @ 9:53pm
It's a retexture.
BirdMan 3 Sep, 2016 @ 9:44pm
is this a retexture or a replace ment
Sunvaulter82 1 Sep, 2016 @ 5:53pm
Hooray! now all I need is a Tribble as my ship pet.
Seas Emissary 22 Aug, 2016 @ 5:15pm
ok thank you
Scoog  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 5:14pm
@Lord CAB As far as I know this mod doesn't do anything weird with the files, I think that was just an isolated problem.
Scoog  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 5:14pm
@Luisers55 That would be because it is
ldiotPhD 22 Aug, 2016 @ 3:32pm
looks like star trek
Seas Emissary 22 Aug, 2016 @ 12:23pm
wait does this mess with the files in some different way or did that one person just do something different?
