Even with (what I believe is) a 0.04% chance to spawn, worlds tend to start getting overrun with these blocks and, since they don't despawn unless broken by the player, they will slowly start to build up everywhere...
1. You can't hit the blocks with your weapon(s) to open them, and maybe it's just my time playing Super Mario Crossover, but I feel like they should be able to be busted open. :)
2. Each pixel that comes out is 25 pixels worth, so if you get a block that has multiples, you've just made a whole lot. In Mario, they were worth 1 coin. While I don't think your mod should give 1, I do think that 5 or 10 a piece would be more reasonable/balanced.
3. They can spawn where you can't access them easily-- dirt may be surrounding the blocks which you have to dig around first to get what's inside. I feel like that takes away from the instant gratification feel of Mario's ? blocks.
- is that a patch, or a separate mod? does it require this AND FU? when are you uploading it?
Beautiful work !
that being said, is there a world-safe way to uninstall this mod?
But this is just fine.
And probably die allot.
@Solzucht: Yea, I've thought about that, but for me and the group I play with, we enjoy seeing them randomly spawn just as if they were random chests or those capsules on the ground. I'm glad you enjoyed it some though, and thanks for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind :)
and its a nice mod,...but...
to have them randomly appear on kinda any planet destroys a bit the lore(to me) of SB.
i would use it as part of a missiondungeon?
but as it is now, i will not keep using it,
but i will upvote and favourize it :)

Whenever any mod causes a crash, there are two questions/answers that help the developers solve the problem faster:
1. Do you currently have any other mods installed?
2. What does your starbound.log have in it? (after a crash, open up starbound.log and copy/paste it into pastebin or a similar website, and then post the link here for the dev to see)
On a side note, I think I found the bug! It wasn't causing the game to crash for me, but either way I've fixed what should be the problem. Pushing the update now :)
Thanks for your help!
