Despite the having more witches than hard rain it never felt unbalanced due to space you have to move around them in and the plethora of defibs and closets.
The emphasis on side paths and supplies hidden in bushes made the linnear layout feel more open. Like a good version of cold stream. I especially liked the roling barrels section. Though maybe the amount of them could be tuned down for players with slower machines.
Thats not even mentioning the artstyle, from the warm lighting to the leaves flowing in the wind. For a second i thought i was actually playing CSGO. It was that polished and beautyful.

No, it wouldn’t. The first thing I tried was every RNG texture technique I could find to determine the best system to use. If they actually worked correctly, I would have used them. In multiplayer each player would get a different RNG result, seeing a different skin. This causes problems. If you say an item is by the witch with red hair, but the hair is different for each player, players get confused or angry. Different skins means a specific infected may be obvious to one player and camouflage against the background to another. Those are unacceptable problems. I could not find a way to make an RNG result consistent across all players, as textures load individually for each player (this is why each player can have mods to replace textures).
You reckon wrong. The file size actually decreased when I went from RNG to models. Having to make a model for each skin force me to cut down on the number of alternate textures I was using.
The variant colour of special infected was unnecessary though.
I updated the map yesterday. It’s possible you had different versions of the map (when you Local Host a game, the computer of the person who created the lobby counts as “the server”). My guess would be some of you had the new version and some had the old. If someone moved the file to the addons folder and unsubscribed, they would have the version they downloaded not the updated version. Or for some players the new version didn't fully download when you started playing. Check to make sure everyone has the new version fully downloaded. I’ll check it with my playtesters tonight to make sure it’s not a problem with the new version.
Playing the campaigns in order is not particularly important. There some storytelling and visual references in each campaign to other campaigns I have made, that might make more sense if you play them in order; like the rescue vehicle for Taco Bucket Supreme is behind you at the start of Long Dead Road. But you won't be at any kind of disadvantage if you don't play the other camapign(s), or don't play them in order. So you can play Taco Bucket Supreme if it appeals to you, and skip it if it does not.
Yes the models are mandatory. That is why they are listed in the required files.
